Bartek Ingredients is a good company to work for with a positive work environment, supportive coworkers, and a strong focus on safety. The facility is well maintained, and employees have opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience.

However, compensation is lower than many comparable companies in the industry, especially for licensed operators who bring specialized skills and certifications to the role. The retirement plan and overall benefits package could also be improved to remain competitive and help attract and retain experienced employees.

Overall, it is a good workplace with a strong culture, but improvements in pay and retirement benefits would make it a much more attractive long-term employer.

Bartek Ingredients could be a great company. The new management seemed to want to grow the company , expand the name , bring about change. However there too much old blood. An not enough push on the Union shop. There is alot of dead weight in this company.

In about 10 years when those who don't work, laze around and destroy an otherwise great company , are no longer there. This will be a great industry in Stoney Creek again.

I hope that Bartek becomes a great place too work for .

While the pay & benefits were decent, the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. Often-irritable co-workers and absent-minded managers was often the case during a typical day's work. If you just kept your mouth shut and did your work regardless of any difficulties, you would be left alone for the most part, but there were exceptions.

Management completely sucks they blame the staff for everything and will even give out write up for having safety issues not to mention production head boss dj will talk down to you and call you names when you're walking away or about you decreasing morale and if you submit a complaint about it the company won't do anything about it 

They take your union dues every pay but the union is non existent. Management sucks and tries to intimidate. There’s definitely more cons than pros. Not that good of a company since it’s the people who make it. Good if your in between jobs but don’t make it a career. Most of the workers will try and tell you how to do your job but can’t do theres properly etc…

You don't need a degree or experience to work there.. you just have to be someone from the owners personal life. Geography teacher running a manufacturing plant... makes no sense. They pay women a 1/4 of what the men make. Not to mention the part owner that is drunk all the time and brags how much money and homes he has...lol the worst place....keep looking!!!

With the acquisition of Bartek back in November ‘18 Bartek has undergone many positive changes with the hiring of a new C level team; renovations and new equipment. While old habits take time to change; a lot of people are seeing the vision. Great company to work for and I’m very happy to be part of the team

Boring but good if you want a long term job. Its unionized so youre forced to deal with awful coworkers. Job is too easy. 

Nothing earth shattering here. Production team is friendly and great. If you want to progess, dont work here. 

Bartek is a decent place to work but has some work to do in terms of safety and retirement benefits. It’s a small, growing and stable place. Perfect for operators looking to get experience.  Management doesn’t work well together. Far too much drama. 

Friendly and positive people. Plenty of chances to grow in experience in most fields. A job that requires to be able to talk with people and be compassionate. 

Most days were working on projects as well as on call service to different parts of the plant.
