Warehouse - very clean, bright and organized, temperature controlled (air conditioning in summer and heat in winter), mats to stand. Beautiful lunch room - free coffee, filtered water and tea. The company really cares about its employees and wants to make sure they have a nice work environment. 

Management - very fair - team huddle in morning setting out reasonable, achievable goals, regular check ins throughout the day from management and supervisors to see how they can support their teams. Always available to help if you have questions. 

General Manager is outstanding! She is incredibly committed to her team - she is the first one in in the morning and the last to leave. She will jump in and help her team on the shop floor - she is always helping others and doing nice things for her team (bonuses, lunches, treats, recognition). She is a great teacher and inspires you to be better and try your best. 

Of course if you're texting all day, have a negative attitude and are not contributing at all, you're going to be given a warning and ultimately asked to leave. All in all, though, management wants you to succeed and are there to help.They are very kind, fair and reasonable.

I recently worked here as a seasonal employee this past December 2018 and it was a blast!  I worked the downtown core delivering baskets through the PATH and the only negative thing I can say is that it was only a seasonal position and had to end!  I could easily see myself working there everyday!

The best advice I could give you would be to go to an interview and MEET THE TEAM to see for yourself!!  Simply wonderful, caring people and a cool work environment!  The next best piece of advice I can give you is to ignore any review that refers to Management.  There is no one in that office that pretentiously refers to themselves as "management" or acts like they are above anyone. I have a hard time believing those reviews are from actual employees.  The tone is so far fetched from what a typical experience there looks like. 

Everyone there works as a team and it is a great collaborative environment.  I always felt like I was among friends. Our days were well organized and if anything posed a challenge there was always a quick solution right around the corner.  This company is legit and the owners are thoughtful and caring. Truly, go see for yourself! I can't wait be back next holiday season!

What I liked most about working at Baskits was that there was no 'typical day at work - there was always something new to learn or task to tackle. It's a high performance culture that is a meritocracy. 

The owner really takes the time to invest in the employees and offers them the opportunity to take on new roles and develop new skills along the way. It's also a great work environment where ideas are welcomed and taken into consideration. Staff are nice and helpful. 

If you work hard and contribute, you will be rewarded. It’s a pay for performance place and if you want to do more/earn more, you can - speaking from personal experience! 

I'd say it’s probably not the right environment for someone who isn’t interested in learning, pushing themselves or trying new things – definitely not the right place for someone just looking for a “job”.

I am writing to express a growing concern shared by many employees regarding the treatment of staff under the supervision of a specific member of management. Numerous times employees have reached out have  about this individual’s behavior, yet the issues persist.

Employees often feel subjected to unfair treatment, creating a work environment filled with frustration. The ongoing pattern of behavior has led to several employees resigning or being dismissed, which further amplifies the stress and uncertainty among the team. Unfortunately, many employees are reluctant to voice their concerns directly due to fear of retaliation or losing their jobs.

We strongly urge you to address this issue promptly and take necessary action to ensure a fair and supportive workplace for all. A healthy work environment is crucial not only for employee morale but also for the overall success of the organization.

One of the most fun and learning experience of my life. The president of the company bought the business about 4 years ago, she’s a strong and very inspirational leader and entrepreneure. What I like the most about the opportunity of working at Baskits is the possibility to contribute to the fast growth of the business. The team is young and dynamic, teamwork is very strong as everyone is helping each other. Management encourages us to take initiatives and they are very open about our feedback! The standard for performance is getting higher as we grow but I see it as a challenge to improve my skills and be part of a winning team.

I am proud to work for Baskits because I believe we are the best at what we do, we take pride in our work and we provide an amazing customer experience.  I feel like what I am doing is important and appreciated and it makes Baskits an excellent place to work.  The people here are also really fun and kind and I enjoy working with them.  We all take our work really seriously, but also seem to have fun while doing it.  Baskits itself has an excellent facility that is a great place to work, and we sell beautiful products that people love, so that also makes a big difference in terms of the overall environment at work. Enough One employee consistently disrupts the work environment. She regularly attempts to control situations and speaks rudely to other staff members. This behavior has created ongoing tension and discomfort in the workplace. I am asking ownership to address this issue directly. I do not need to name the individual, as the situation is well known among staff. Immediate action is needed to restore a respectful and healthy work environment.          A professional manager is needed. The childish behavior and ongoing games are exhausting and are negatively affecting the workplace. This situation requires immediate attention and proper leadership.
