Managers helped and cared about sales staff, given you had potential and personality the pay was great! 

You should not be worried about living off of a "draw" in car sales anyways, the commission there is good. 

Advancements as far as car sales to sales manager, it's a slim chance there, but changing positions and trying something new is always in the books if you are a great worker. 

Not nearly the revolving door that other dealerships can be. 

Owners, Managers, and Staff are all a pleasure to have worked with ! 

Baytowne Hyundai is one of the few family owned dealerships left here in Barrie and when you work here you get the sense of "family". Management from all departments are organized, supportive, and professional.  Many companies use the word team to describe their staff, but during my time employed at Baytowne, I truly did feel that I was apart of a team working towards the same goal.  As an Accounting professional I appreciate processes in place to enhance productivity and efficiency.  I respect that Management at Baytowne always strived to improve processes and consider the thoughts and opinions of their employees.  Overall the work environment here was positive and professional! Fun company social events and holiday celebrations.  I learned a lot from my time at Baytowne Hyundai, skills I can hone as I progress in my career. 

I worked at Baytowne Hyundai for about 2 years first starting off at reception then moving through service and accounting. The best part of working for this company was the people you got to work with. There was always opportunities to do extra tasks and help was always provided from managers and other team members. Laughter and fun is in great supply at Baytowne Hyundai. The work is interesting and with the automotive industry, always changing. If you’re a coffee or food lover, this is definitely the place for you..need a coffee/tea/snack/lunch run no problem someone’s got your back! From the Dealer Principle all the way down to your fellow co-workers, you were always encouraged and welcomed. I am very grateful I had the pleasure to work for the Williams family, they are one of a kind.

I worked at Baytowne for over 4 years intermittently and always enjoyed it. The managers are great mentors and easy to get along with. Many longtime employees there who care about what they do. Colleagues made the environment more enjoyable and there was always collaboration between the departments (ie sales, service, parts). Take the needed time to learn your job & about the company and you will do well here. The auto industry is fast-paced and service based, but the management at Baytowne helps to make things move more seamlessly. Thanks for everything!

What is the best part of working at the company?
People are somehow friendly but fake on the same time. Atleast you get to talk to someone.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The pay plan and the money that one would earn. Trust me fellows, its not worth it working at Baytowne. 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Depends on the mood of the managers


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come to work, see two sales people out of 20 getting all the leads and see everyone else struggle.

Every day was different, I learned how to install a variety of automotive accessories. Management was good, although the owner was really not a part of everyday operations. Most of my co-workers were very helpful, others not so much. The hardest part of the job was maintaining my duties as well as those of other employees that were not as motivated to complete tasks given to them. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with the other full-time detailer. We became long time friends.

Thoroughly enjoy working for a family run dealership where co-workers are good natured and work together to achieve the same goals.  A fun, friendly, professional working environment that provides training and continuous improvements for its employees.  The safety and well being of employee is always a priority, but especially throughout the pandemic.
Baytowne Hyundai is able to retain several long term employees due to the positive workplace culture.

The owner and manager could organize  2 car convoy efficiently. One of the worst experiences of my automotive career. Drove me out if the business after that fiasco. Empty bays during tire season with 8 techs standing around. Pictures to prove it. Shocked at how poorly run this dealership is 

Baytowne Hyundai was a great place to work. The management helped you succeed and gave praise when they noticed hard work. It was always very enjoyable to work on the floor and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend working at Baytowne Hyundai!

I've worked at a few dealerships and this place by far the worst. Every sale is flat rate, it's very disorganized, everyone points fingers, your expected to be there everyday and work from home when you're not. More lying and deception than a regular dealership
