An overall good place to work. They have the senior survey staffs back through the slow times. They helped me out when my child was sick and paid me a minimum wage per week. Only downside was things were not busy enough during construction season to bank overtime and get ahead of bills and payments. Work was very spread out and there was no guarantee to get on a major project to get ahead during peak season. Would recommend working here for work life balance just not the most money to be made in the industry. 

A typical day at work depends on the task at hand. If it was road construction you hammered wood stakes into the ground all day and contoured with a GPS. If it was new housing you had to tie in the location of the house on a GPS. Other days would include being out in the bush all day. It is a well run company and the employees are good to work with.

Working at Beairsto & Associates Engineering was one of the most pleasant working experiences I have ever had. The management team provides guidance and learning experiences at every turn, allowing you to grow and flourish as a professional. The skills I have squired in the time I was employed here will carry with me in any professional setting.

The company culture is so supportive and motivational! Every employee feels significant, and feels like part of the team - this is proven by the numerous long-term employees, and the ever-growing amount of new employees as our company expands.  The management styles cater specifically to each employees' needs, and there is never a lack of encouragement or assistance when needed. 

Management treats employees as objects. They make you pay 150 a month for company benefits. Be prepared to work many hours for free. You will be constantly lied to and treated poorly.

The mid management people and the projects you work on are pretty cool but the upper management is total chaos with small mindset. Headless chicken vibes. Extreme micromanagement and be prepared to get little to no recognition for breaking your back. 

A challenging and fast pace environment that offers many benefits and propels one to advance their career quickly. Great people to work with and collaborate together to complete big projects with accuracy and perfection.

Excellent support from management to let you do your job.
Culture encourages owning your work. You might find it difficult if you enjoy being micromanaged.

Management is clueless and or greedy. Extremely incompetent on all fronts, expects the employees to figure everything out. Absolutely ridiculous place. 

They was good before. Had friendly and family environment but once their main owner retired they become opposite. Not a good place for work here. They lost many good old employees.
