What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I worked with.  The camaraderie amongst workers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
In my 10 years with them, there was very little stress. Fron tine to time urgent tasks would happen but at the end of the day, the urgency has been resolved.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment / culture was great. Everyone was willing to help out whoever needed some help. Management was always approachable. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work day started at 6:30am and my job was to make sure all carpet requirements were ready to load on all 3 scheduled trailers  for the day not including the carpets that were to ve picked up by customers.

Best part I enjoyed was answering the phone, and speaking to all types of people. A typical day at work would be answering emails, checking orders to see if they had reached their destinations, doing follow ups with clientelle, I checked messages and returned phone calls, cheked inventory to see what was available and any new products. What I learned was the new systems,the AS400. I learnt about all the types of carpets, and hard wood flooring. Management was to deligate my time to get my work done. Co-workers were all of help, when needed. The hardest part of the job was learning transportation and the time it took to reach the destination.

Over all the work was easy unload and load containers of carpet or laminate wood flooring they had enjoyable customers and unless there was a need the management left you to your tasks unfortunately there was nothing to be learned at the company no where to grow or develop new skills the hardest part of the job was dealing with the down time the most enjoyable part of the job was the people working on the floor until a shift of manpower occurred stability was lost and it was no longer an enjoyable place to be.

The people are amazing, the team is really great, I loved that the company was international and we could speak with people from all over the world.  Great potential for this Canadian business.  The company is constantly making reconstruction to save money instead of investing in growing, making it hard for advancements and job security is practically inexistent.

Rapping carpet and driving forklift

For me It was not stressful. I enjoyed working there

Friendly and well behaved employees

Just like every normal day. Go do your job and for me it was like having fun

The Staff for sure.. best management I've had yet.

Bagging grass orders for home Depot

Forklift operator  Helping full fill orders shipping and receiving

Under the old operations manager, was a terrific place to work.   When changes came work environment changed.  New manager likes to talk behind employees backs.   Private conversations are not private.   Manager favours other employees over others.   Other employees are great to work with.

Been here for 5 years so far, and I must say I really enjoy the challenge, the compensation plan is very good and, being a Canadian manufacturer is an added bonus!

The company was in transformation mode.  It was a long process and although I left the company, I had confidence they could achieve the transformation. The company produces great products.  Marketing is becoming much stronger.

good great staff and products fundamental offering reflects the needs of the current floor industry market.

Opportunity to penetrate multi market opportunities is well supported through marketing.
