I was a sales rep for Southern Alberta. I had to be organized in order to take care of the 150 clients I was responsible for in my territory. Once a trust was established with my clients they would not as much order a bobby pin from a competitor. I enjoyed learning the needs of stylists and formed  warm relationships. The hardest part of the job was sometimes long waits at a salon or business when management or the owners were tied up with there own clients. 
The most enjoyable I met many loyal customers and it was rewarding fulfilling there needs. The minute a huge sale came on for lets say a hair product I was at there door so they could increase there sales plus be successful at there own business.

Misleading in financial potential. 
Poor training.
Very little support and guidance. 
This company is so large that they don't care about the health and well being of their employees. 
Constant negativity from District Sales Managers. 
Offer incentives--- that you may or may not receive. 
You have to put out of pocket for business trips and not all expenses are reimbursed. They take their time refunding expenses.

lots of nepotism  or have to be friends or your an outsider  treat grown adults like they need to be micromanaged tracking all day even if your selling double quotas and up still lots of unrealistic expectations they allow  managers to be bullies at all levels  very deceptive at all levels they do not appreciate good workers you are a number next....

Not the greatest company to work for. They don’t like to give out raises and you will NOT make more than minimum wage no matter how qualified you are. It is like pulling teeth trying to get your benefits in order, the company is extremely unorganized as a whole and is very frustrating to work for.

Lack of inventory to sell , pay packages 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic ,  unhealthy,  toxic , wouldn’t recommend

This job was a learning experience for sure, assisting payroll and running reports all day. Received employee discount at all Sally Beauty Stores worldwide.

good place to work , however \I do not believe they have an office in Ontario any longer.
worked in the warehouse and at the head office ... like every other call center lost of work , pay was questionable

Typical 8 hour day of work, with a fun office culture, great and productive coworkers and engaging management. Most enjoyable part of the job is getting to preview new products and working with different departments.

I really enjoyed working with the company, Started as admin in the warehouse then move to payroll in the head office on my last few years with the company.



Great company to work for until changes in Senior Management.
Never felt like part of a Team
Management was never accountable.
Colleagues were fabulous people to work with.
