I've worked for the company for quite a few years and have had a lot good experiences mixed in with the bad as you may expect. I work with many knowledgeable and hard worker people. Unfortunately these amazing employees don't have a solid foundation of leadership that this place needs to be successful going forward. Every manager position has changed hands in the last few years and with it comes more and more chaos. You have a governing body with very little knowledge of the process going into making the product that we put out. And because of that lack of knowledge it leads to many mis communications, mishaps, unrealistic expectations of what can and can't be done. Any work culture that did exist has now gone stagnant. The general consensus from most of the people that work here is that we will be closing the doors at some point. Not because there's whispers of such plans coming down from the corporate ladder, but because it defies all logic and reason that anywhere could operate with such poor leadership

A typical day would involve monitoring inventory levels of raw materials required for production, organize staffing and insure production is not interrupted, insure all company procedures and safety regulations are being followed, be in contact with sister plants to insure that products are being produce in the best location to meet customer demand, work close with customer service and shipping department 

Learned the process involved with the production of PVC food grade films, from a raw material to a finished consumer product.

Strong management and supervisory team working closely together to meet customer expectations.

Co-workers working together in a team environment.

The hardest part of the job would be keeping all production lines running when an operators does not show up for their shift.

The most enjoyable part of the job is achieving the results that are expected and being able to see results.

Typical day at work is long and strenuous. 
HR hires then does everything in its power to try and fire you. 
Because i was a new hire i tried being respectful of my new co-workers but they all just looked down their noses at me. 
The hardest part of the job is long hours and very little pay. They talk about pay increases but that dont happen. Theres a few employees who make over $27 but thats it. When they retire everyone will be at $23.00. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is leaving. 

Berry Global is a great place to work...all positions are fast paced and can be overwhelming at times. Supervisors and lead hands are available throughout the shift to assist and oversee the staff.
HR, is always available to speak with and bring concerns to.
Once you get into your own rhythm and have a handle, the job (still being fast paced) becomes easier.

Its nice work fast paced. Not big on upper management seems like they dont have a clue. Some of the departments have to work swing shift which is a total drag. Dont seem to want to add people to departments that need more work force. Also seem to have a hard time getting important issues figure out quickly. Instead of fixing a problem they work around it and basically making the everyday employee having to deal with it.

After 15 years working there it had its ups and downs but was a for the most part a good and sometimes fun place to work. got to know the other employees well and there were alot of long time workers at the plant. A typical day would include running the extruder, doing paperwork including quality checks, loading skids, wrapping skids and cleaning work area.

Unfriendly two faced people that work there, was fired for being English. Very unintelligent people working there. They don't listen to new ideas. Mostly french and ignorant. 12 hour shifts on cement floors with alot of noise from the presses. Its really not worth there money.

They pay above average, with some unplanned 2 weeks of layoffs. The head office limited the variety of products, causing poor sales. After 5 years of buy over from previous ownership, the plant was unprofitable and shut down

Good place to work, starting wage over minimum wage with steady advancement every year for the first 3 years. Work day can range from super stressful to very relaxed, you never know how it’s going to go. Good job that I would recommend to anyone.

typical day involves getting paper work required for fulfilling orders on your machine. setting up your machine for those orders. making sure you  have the supplies necessary to complete your tasks
