i worked there a short time (just over a year) but i quickly noticed that those on the counter did all the work while the sales people just sat there and did not want to help when it was their issue in the first place.
the management doesn't care about the hard work you do and rewards those that have a certain title, and wanting the staff to work EVERY Saturday while others have no need but collect all the benefits of your hard work, really makes you feel appreciated

My days involved selling lights, giving people information on lighting products, taking calls, and writing up quotes for customers and contractors. Everything I have learned there, I have taught myself. My management was not very nice. They have called me stupid and other people stupid. I began to have anxiety working there and I finally had enough.

I would recommend not working at Best Plumbing, or working for Bartle & Gibson. It was a bad experience and upper management would with out notice prior to changing your roll or position in the company. To get a raise you would have to basically slack off and not do your job or show up, next moment a promotion or raise, if you busted your butt off, nothing in return.

Jetting bathtubs all day helping out other departments.
I learned lots how to ship and receive and how to do inside sales and and trained to manufacture whirlpool bathtubs.
Co-workers are all great people which made it a good place too work

One of the worse places to work and they have some of the worst management ever. The management will bad mouth you to customers even though you did your job before you quit, to make themselves look good. You could work extra hours and not get paid for them and they still won’t appreciate you. I would suggest working else where. If you like gossip this is the place to be! 

I really liked working there. Steady workload, lovely coworkers, fun environment. So much to learn. And the hours are very reasonable. Great job for anyone who likes to learn about bathroom or kitchen renovation as well. People tend to be happy and patient there, picking out things they love for their homes.

I would not recommend working here. If you were to quit be prepared for the general manager of the store to start emailing  customers slandering your name to cover up their faults as a business and how they treat their employees. They will always have a scape-goat and can never admit they are wrong. 

i very so much enjoyed working here and the people are very friendly and great to work with. i would highly recommend this as a workplace for anyone that enjoys a fast paced enviroment and fast learning.

During my employment at  Best Plumbing and Lighting, I learned different positions, and how to interact with the public, and many different types of people in the different departments within the company.

Would not suggest working here one of the worst places I’ve worked so far. Management is horrific. They have their favourites and stick to them. Not to mention the operations manager he’s the worst to deal with.
