Bibles for Missions

Great place to get experience, several different areas to choose from to work. Paid workers and volunteers are all welcoming to work with, very knowledgeable on what they are doing in their desire area.

Lots of different types of people, drinks and snacks are provided in the kitchen. Scent free environment, and no religious pressure. 

The hardest part is the staff isn't well trained in every aspect. Employee conflicts take several weeks to undertake. Very little training is taught, it is very on the go learning experience. 

- Helped move furniture from the back to the front of the store for sale
- load and unload cars, either loading a customers vehicle or unloading a drop off donation
- clean and organize
- helped customers

I would check in and work in the warehouse unloading and loading merchandise. Once priced, I would stock the shelves in the store with the merchandise.
The people there are great to work with. A fun group of people.
I really enjoy working with the people and getting to know them.

the typical day was mostly moving around stuff as something new was always coming in, we would sort for hours what stuff was toys, outside, sports etc. after that was done I would move clothing from our area to the next where it would be looked at and told if we could see it or not.

I worked cash, customer service, stocking shelves, helping customers with resolving there needs.
I learned to deal with the public, how to deal with customer's issues, I also know how a retail store operates with inventory.

I like to work at bibles for missions especially because of the good environment.

It was an easy job as a cashier here, however, I was never called in for more hours even though I asked for more. Others were called in before I was. Also management and staff were not kind to workers.

I loved volunteering here! great culture, super people!! Priority is on the customer, and working together to get things done. Emphasis on safety and following regulations, which is nice to see.

arrive at work get the daily schedule from my manager and go through the list or help people find different things they might be looking for while cleaning up the shop.

Volunteering at Bibles for Missions has been a pleasure... I have learned retail skills, and met some amazing people. Great place to gain experience and have fun giving back to the community.
