Varying degrees of responsibility which depends on the job for the day. With making gelato I work independently for hours and work systematically to fabricate and extract batches of gelato efficiently and creatively. I learned how to focus on maintaining a clean work area as well as an organized one. Management was always making sure things were running smoothly and that things didn't come to a halt just because something wasn't working properly. The hardest part about the job as well as the most enjoyable at the same time was pushing myself to meet my quota for the day with how many gelato batches I had to fabricate during the summer.

It's all the drama of high school complete with cliques. Hard work does not translate to advancement unless you're one of big bosses "favourites". One of the bosses has since left and I would not return there under current management. 

it was easy. I ran till, and when I got bored of that they let me run other departments. I loved all my coworkers, it was chill. Not the kind of place you'd want to work as an adult, unless any of the management positions open up, which they never will. great for a part time job for after school or as a second job though.

Not going to sugar coat it, you can't really go anywhere with this job. But it was great work experience while I was there and most people that I worked with were great, once you get to know the management they are really good people who care about their employees.

poorly ran ....they don't keep promises ...let ppl who've been been there less time then you have take the job you were promised ... they don't train properly ...

Bosses left rude notes in the break room instead of talking face to face. Gave little to none hours a week. No one has respect for anyone. My co workers were nice to each other and made working there very tolerable a lot of the time.

Bigway in Niverville is a really nice part time opportunity, the job is easy and the managers are fair in their expectations. They offer a good service to a small community.

Bigway foods was a great place to work. Great management great people, great training, room to advance, steady hours, nice staff room, good pay.

Not a bad part time job. Great if your in high school or university. Easy to book off shifts and have days off. Customers are good for the most part but do complain a lot. Managements a little iffy.

it was a great place to meet people. Good job for starting out in the work place or a job for people slowing down in the work field.
