I am very happy to be part of Binary Stream.  I first joined the company as a Professional Services Consultant and have since been promoted to Senior Professional Services Consultant.  I feel that Binary Stream recognizes hard work and provides opportunities for career advancement.  The leadership team cares about employee wellbeing and values employee feedback.  The People & Culture team at Binary Stream takes great strides to make sure that they bring on the right people to join the company.  I can say without hesitation that the people at Binary Stream are friendly, humble, smart, competent, and supportive.  Binary Stream is a great place to work because of the company culture, people, and work life balance.  The fact that Binary Stream has been certified as a great place to work a couple of years in a row is a testament to that.

Binary Stream is a great place to start your career and grow as a professional. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help, there are plenty of training and onboarding programs available for new employees. Team leads stay engaged with their staff and make sure to provide them with opportunities to challenge themselves and practice what they learned. 

If you are willing to learn and grow you will be given opportunities to do so, if you need help there are always people willing to help, you are encouraged to give feedback during retrospectives on what went well and what can be improved every month and actions are taken based on the feedback. In short , you are given the opportunity to succeed here and it is up to you if you want to take it. 

One of the best things about working at Binary Stream is the people. The teams genuinely support one another and are passionate about making a difference in the Microsoft customer community. The executive team is approachable with a true open-door policy; you can drop a meeting on their calendar, and they’ll make time for you. Mentorship is another strong point with clear guidance to help align career development with company goals. As with many fast-growing organizations, priorities can shift quickly so flexibility and adaptability are necessary. That said, if you’re looking for a professional, growth-oriented environment where people and teamwork stand out, Binary Stream is a great place to be.

I have the pleasure of working with the best management team and direct access to the CEO and other directors. I have grown both personally and professionally, thanks to my manager who always encourages me and provides growth opportunities. They encourage an open-door policy, creating an environment where I can share any work-related issues with my direct manager, and he makes an effort to resolve them promptly. As a remote employee in a different time zone, my work-life balance is still maintained, and I am not required to compromise on anything. They also host unique company-wide events that occasionally include remote employees. BEST COMPANY to work!!!

Great place to work & grow! A value-driven work environment that rewards integrity and collaboration, and which does not tolerate unhealthy 'political' behavior. Works tirelessly to nurture high-performing & engaged teams, and is always looking for ways to celebrate team / company success. 

Was hired on as a marketing coordinator back in 2016 when the company was about a third of the size of today. They didn't do much in terms of Marketing at the time but was given a chance to be on the team. 

They do a good job of keeping up a positive company culture, and the CEO is friendly and approachable. I was given opportunity to pursue side projects and develop my role into a video-focused one. 

We unfortunately had a communication breakdown when I wanted to revise my role due to a recently diagnosed medical issue, and I had to leave the company when it was clear there wasn't a future there for me.

The culture at Binary stream is why I want to keep working here. The direct mangers I've worked with have all cared about me as an individual rather than an employee.
The development teams are very supportive while the upper management is accessible and open to feedback.

I joined Binary Stream 2 years ago, and it was a great decision I could make due to the following factors:

Friendly environment.

Very good teamwork in the F&O development team, I believe it will be similar in the other teams too. Everyone is very supportive and help you to grow in your role.

I had a very good experience working as a co-op student at Binary Stream. The work and tech stack are very interesting and gave me the opportunity to learn many different things. The work arrangement is also nice, giving the option to work freely in office or at home, along with flexible hours - we had multiple people working on the team in different time zones. My team was very welcoming as well, I could always reach out and ask for help when I had any questions. Overall, it is a great place to work!
