High stress job, with very little work life balance.
Clients are nice, and are great to work for.
However management expectations of work response time and completion of work are not realistic. In most cases work is completed with no research time, or testing time.

Also response time after hours is not realistic for staff not on call. Even when out of the on call rotation you are expected to answer your phone at all hours to assistant customers.

However they do pay for your testing to get certified. But testing must be done on your own time.

I love the independent nature of the role - working on client sites yet being part of a tech team with 12 other guys. Once you show management you can make clients happy and handle the technical work you are encouraged to take on projects and learn higher end technologies.

The company has treated me very well and I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of this position. The pay is very good as well. Working from home is an extra bonus

Very unprofessional management to the point it's abusive. Screaming at employees, calling employees names, putting employees in unsafe working conditions and rep-remanding said employees for speaking up causing a "disruption in business affecting profits". Constant sub par service to customers, employees constantly leaving the company. There is a god complex in the office that is out of control and extremely abusive. Save yourself a lot of trouble and find gainful employment else where, trust me.

If you have no family, friends or any social life and love high stress little reward jobs. This is for you, you will often find yourself working after hours, and not fairly paid. It is a long 6 month probation, not to mention extreme lack of training (pushing you into the water). And when you mess up or don't know something get ready for lots of yelling and making you feel bad. Very strict time constrains make you go mental.

Binatech is very stressful but can be rewarding as it provides many learning opportunities for new and different technologies.

On-call is very stressful and you are often at the mercy of your co-workers documentation,. IE If they do not write details on how they previously handled the out of normal business hour issues.

Environment is toxic inside the office which is totally attributable to ‘senior leadership’.
CEO does not foster a supportive/team oriented work place

If you work at Binatech, you’ll have guaranteed job security, competitive income, and supportive team, and access to tons of great resources to help you grow.
The only downside was work/life balance, but even that wasn’t too bad.


Working as a helpdesk technician was a rewarding journey filled with opportunities for personal and professional growth. It allowed me to develop my problem solving skills and deepened my understanding of technology.

Such a great group of people working here. I always feel included in the conversation and that my ideas are heard. Management is approachable and really gives you opportunities to grow. I truly enjoy working here!
