I absolutely love working at Bizou in their Oshawa location. The employees and management have treated me like family, and have taken the time and patience to help me be able to succeed in this job. I can honestly say out of all the places I have worked, this is the best! Theres not a day that I wake up and dread going to work! I love everything the job entails! Yes sometimes the customers get rude but with a retail job that is always expected, but the manager always has your back. I 100% recommend this as a place of work. If you show them respect and appreciation you will always be treated with the same respect and appreciation as you have shown! I hope to be able to work many years here, and work my way up. :)

a typical day at Bizou started with excitement. I never once woke up n dreaded having to go into work. I loved my boss and the girls I worked with. We learned a lot about sales and advertising. I took everything my boss told me seriously and this is why I got promoted to assistant manager. We worked together as a team and always met our sales goals plus more. The hardest part about my job was dealing with stock. There was just so much and we only had a very tiny back room. The most enjoyable part of my job was working with the customers. I had very many enjoyable conversations and built personal relationships with them gaining loyal customers.

basic retail job, hours depend on manager , availability and performance. Depending on location work can be stressful or not (big or small store). Pretty slow most of the year (apart for high seasons). Head office involved in store sales-lots of contest to encourage higher sales, very transparent company from CEO to sales associate, everyone is in the know.
Overall if you like jewellery, selling to customer and catering to them it's a good fit, but like any other job, who you work with is what makes the biggest impact...

I would be on cash and building customer relationships. I learned how to do cash while employed at Bizou. The management was good and they followed all the rules. My co-workers were friendly and very nice outgoing people. The hardest part of the job was ordering all of the products and taking the packages out. The most enjoyable part of the job was being in a good environment with great customers.

Bizou  is the best campany as for me because frist the management how they handle their people second the co worker .we work together as a team. Managers are great! Very dynamic workplace. Different tasks to execute everyday. Various events organized by the company making it a fun environment.

I worked here as a student and I LOVED it! My manager worked around my schedule and let me do homework on shift. The products contained no toxic metals and we were allowed to discourage parents from piecing young kids ears. Relaxed work place and every one was nice. I only left because our store shut down.

This place is run by a district manage who doesn't know how to manage.  Low pay and you get talked about behind your back.  By the District manager no less.  

Good luck selling the cheap jewlery, unless you are only looking to wear it once and then trash it.

This is wonderful little store that sells the cutest accessories. It often has 1-2 people working at a time. Staff are friendly  but management does not know where to draw appropriate boundaries with their staff. Management is lazy and sloppy. I do NOT recommend working here. Run!

Wonderful place to work, Great environment and beautiful jewelry. Great place for style and positivity not good for money minimum wage doesn't pay bills

Loved the company! Loved the fashion ! I didn't mind the long hrs or work , had great customer base. Loved this job! Company closed all stores west of Quebec for a time after 2009
