Ig one is motivated you car progress quickly and attendance is alswayba big problem with the smaller prisons.as the offer a lot of training and maximize time off. Great food and even betther service. We made very much fucused on our future and tge quality of the employees. Visists and their recommendation. 

Lower management in the maintenance department is good, they help when needed and defend you if there are issues with upper management. Pay was well below the average for the Area and work life on 50 year old equipment along with the down time expectations are ridiculous.
They want equipment up and running ASAP and most times parts don't even exist any more for it.
A German company once told them it was the best museum piece they had ever seen 

A company that takes care of their employees and cares about their employees well being.  Always felt valued, included and respected.  The company organized several employee functions throughout the year to show their appreciation for hard work and to cultivate a team building environment. Great place to work.

Depending on the shift you work, the co-workers can be a nice addition to working the 12 hours. Some staff including supervisors / lead hands are intimidating, rude, or mocking towards others. Management doesn't do much to help, some even add to the issues. New management has been implemented and is currently nice and understanding, by the HR department anyways.

Sure yeah, you can make friends there. But everything else is horrible. HR has no idea what they're doing considering that they're currently expanding the factory. Management is okay, and the work is soul crushing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. They will find a reason to fire you for no reason 

Multiple departures within a short period of time. Management's demeanor most likely the cause. Office staff and production staff don't mingle and resentment is high between the two. Training is minimal so it's sink or swim. Expect to travel to other locations at the drop of a hat.

Work is very hard,  unappreciative management.  Recommended hourly lbs for packaging is ran much above.  Talked down to constantly.  Lucky if you can take a washroom break.  Going 2 weeks days and switch 2 weeks nights.  Depressing hateful place to work.  Staff turn around rate is rapid

Most people are decent but they don't pay enough. Should be paying a few more $$$/HR for the work done. 
Shift work is Continental and depending on the section you work in, it could be a/c or really hot.
Unless you're desperate....keep looking.


I was a Drops operator.  Enjoyed learning the equipment ins and outs. Fast and slow paced. Never a dull moment. Many recipes to mix together and templates to change over for each.

toxic and underwhelming. one or two supervisors who are great but they get dwarfed by the constant fu***ry of upper management. the job sucks and pays little the hours are long and tedious.
