A typical day at work for me was opening or closing the store, cleaning the sales floor, working with customers and also with my co-workers. I learned many responsibilities and becoming a leader. The management was great and well organized and very true to who they were. The workplace was welcoming and clean and showed a great concern for customers needs. The hardest part for me was receiving stock and making sure it was done properly but I managed to figure it out and make sure I did it right. The part I enjoyed most was working with customers and making sure the sales floor was kept neat and tidy and the customers liked what they saw. I loved making sure the store looked welcoming and eye-catching.

A typical work day involved being over worked for minimal pay, rude customers, poor management, everyone being Miserable, and feeling not cared for. Hours are horrible, you’re either given too much or too little as a part timer. The company does not care about you, and does not trust you as they bag check you after every break, every time you come in, and every time you leave. I was personally basically not and had no clue what I was doing most of the time due to lack of training. This job took a toll on my sanity.

Its a really great way to start if you do not have much customer service experience! This job has taught me so many useful skills, and everyone  is very helpful and understanding. I do find a job like this really pushes you out of your comfort zone but in doing so I have become so much more confident with my skills with customer service and how thankful people are for your help really make the job worth it!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone was very nice and it wasn’t very busy.

Nothing was that stressful while I was there.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone was kind and helpful and it was like everyone was friends.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I would do stock so I would get boxes of clothes and put tags on them and fold them to be put away.

certain members of management at my particular location were unsupportive, condescending and down right rude at times, but Thats an isolated situation.

Overall, Bluenotes was fairly enjoyable to work at. My co workers and I got along really well. However, the store could get really messy and there were never enough workers working a shift.

Working at Bluenotes is really fun, the staff is super nice and inviting, and the work load is reasonable for the job type. Sometimes the customers can be really rude, but that just comes with the territory.

loved helping costumers, had quite a few managers, assistant managers, and team  leads in the 4 months i worked here. was asked for a doctors note for calling in sick with stomach flu

Cleaning up all areas, helping customers, organization.. learned to fold clothes a different way. Management was ok. Hardest part of job getting proper hours.  Enjoyable part communicating with customers 

The one thing I have learned is training and coaching employees is number one before your goal in customer service, without that, you cannot expect your employees to have the proper knowledge to be able to make sales.
