Bolthouse Farms

Every day started at 8:00 AM, unless we were otherwise instructed to come in at 7:00 to make boxes if we were running low the day before. Come in, wash your hands, go punch in, walk to the smock closet and grab a smock for your shift, go into the freezer and put on gloves for sanitary reasons. We (the packers) would then go to the line where the bags of carrots proceeded to come down the line, grab the bags that you were instructed to pack (according to what skid you were standing beside), pack the bags into the box (numbers varying on what size of bag), once it is full let the palletizers grab the box and move it onto the skid. Only if your specific palletizer was busy would we then close the box and move it onto the skid ourselves. Once all of the packing was done, if there were any bad bags during the day, such as had a bad date on it or the bag was ripped, we would open the bags and pour them into what we called the rework bin to then go through the system and be used again so that they are not wasted/thrown away. Depending on how many carrot trailers we had during the day would then decide when we were done our shift. Normally it was 8am-7pm.

I would show up at 530 am n make sure everything was cleaned out and ready to start flowing. it was a baby carrot factory, we would bring them in from trucks, then through a bunch of machines inside the building and a cleaning process and cooling process then finally they wouldl be bagged and shipped out to the compnaies.

This company is very great, everyone is always helpful. The hardest part of the job was working in the different temperatures, if it was cold outside it was cold inside and vice versa with the heat as well. they also waste alot of product on a daily basis.

One of the best jobs i have had, wonderful management. Everyone got along. For the first time i worked as a laborer. Had fun doing this job. Learned a lopt doing this job, leaned new skills, and life lessons as well

Even though it's seasonal, wonderful place to work. One of the, if not the best job I ever had. Wonderful employees, good pay, overtime. I thourally enjoyed my time working there, if I had a chance I would go back in a heartbeat.

I was enjoyed my work time in Bolthouse Farm. i was work on packaging line and pack the products packets in a box and stacking on the palate. me and my colleagues are do fun on work time and help tom each other.

Worked in a literal freezer so was super cold everyday. Nice friendly people to work with. Was a great experience,  I'd go back there if they called me.

for seasonal work it's not a bad place. Just not somewhere I would want to have a permanent position. If working in the freezer part, it can get extremely cold for standing more than 8 hours a day.

Co workers and supervisors are friendly and understand everything. If you are new you will be treated very kindly and you will get full help from others.

Well behaved people.
