Greet employees, Greet any customers, Have our Guests sign in and have them grab a badge. Sort and distribute the reports. Open and answer emails. Distribute mail, prepare courier packages.
Double check banking before it goes to the bank,( I'm the back up to person who prepares the banking when they are  away.)
Kept tabs on vocation and sick days for employees.Update MSDS   ( Material Safety Document Sheet) Maintain WSIB sheets, Create and maintain employee badges. Create generic badges for maintenance that comes into the building. Keep tabs on rooms and availability - book rooms for meetings. Order food for meetings, help clean meeting rooms. Change greeting on our phone line when needed - e.g. when were closed for statutory holidays etc...
started to help with Accounts Receivable where needed.
Created and maintain Vendors information within the data base.
Called taxi's and Hotels for people that was visiting for meetings over night. Help walk in end user customers in where they could find out products within the market - e.g  Lowes, Rona etc...  or have the sales person that dealt with that particular product to come and assist with the customer.

Worked with many associates from the floor level to the management level. One manager in particular which you can ask anyone, is extremely hard to work with. They should not be in the management position. Definitely one of the main reasons for associates to leave the company.
There have been multiple complaints and HR hasn't done anything.
HR only looks for best interest in the company. Does not care about the associates nor knows how to talk to associates. (Human Resource), there is no human factor in that department.

A lot of associates have left, and aren't being replaced. thus the work gets pilled on the associates that are left, with no additional compensation. which forces more associates to leave and find less stressful jobs with more pay.
Worth working for a year to put the company on your resume and then find a better paying job. not a company to have a career in.

This company meets their industry reputation which is poor. Compared to other places I’ve worked which follow ISO9001 protocols, this office was a disaster to navigate because there are no internal procedures to follow. If a mistake was made internally there was no way to correct the mistake. The procedures existed but were not followed through. In my unique case I wasn’t assigned sales targets or customers. Instead was required to act in good faith and serve the entire province without receiving any credit or compensation for my work. There was no company structure. A lot of managers that didn’t have clear vision to guide their teams. No collaboration between departments. Internal issues made it impossible to serve customer with any efficiency. I loved the technology coming from Germany but without collaboration between departments innovation was rendered useless.

My day started at 8:0'Clock and after taking off the Night Service the switchboard came alive, covering 3 Divisions. My job had a daily routine and I soon learned to prioritize my time. The management gave me space to set my own goals to accomplish my day and my relief Receptionist had the same work ethics as my self so there was no set backs in the transition. 
At 4:0'clock, I left knowing my days jobs were completed and after leaving the Reception with my co-worker it would be in order for the start of the next day.
The most enjoyable part of the job was arriving and starting my day.
The hardest part of the job was saying Goodbye..I was laid off due to seniority.

The job is System Design and Integration - from concept to completion taking the following path:

- Applications are reviewed with the customer and application scope is defined.
- Conceptual designs are presented and approved prior to development.
- Necessary components are selected and sourced along customer guidelines.
- Electrical design is begun and programming structure is defined for necessary coding.
- At customer design approval, purchasing begins and manufacturing is scheduled.
- Programming and designs are finalized where commissioning and acceptance testing begins (locally or on-site).
- Happy customer sign-off, then back to the beginning of a new project.

I had the privilege of working as a Sales Engineer at Bosch, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. This role allowed me to seamlessly blend my technical expertise with my passion for sales. I consistently leveraged my knowledge to provide clients with tailored solutions that addressed their unique needs. The dynamic tech industry provided an ever-evolving landscape to thrive in, and I took full advantage of it. I enjoyed collaborating with a talented team and exceeding sales targets while building lasting client relationships. Overall, being a Sales Engineer in this tech company was both challenging and fulfilling, and it reinforced my dedication to driving growth through innovative technical solutions.

Bosch excels not only in their core industry and business but they are also at the forefront when it comes to their human management efforts. No stone is let unturned to ensure the "Associates" are taken care of well, sometimes surpassing expectations !

Minimal chance of advancing your career, great company ethic and atmosphere though. Overall a great workplace with a majority of nice people. 

Employees and management have very little interaction although very approachable and friendly in daily work functions

Best part of the job is the customers, great customer base, very friendly and understanding when issues arise. Daily dealings with customers is second to none.  Sales reps and customer service make a great team.

I worked there for many years so they were much better years back.   Corporate pressure, cut backs make the job stressful They had a high turnover rate past few years. The company operates in Silo's so collaboration is challenging and  dealing with sister plants is even worse.
Their main focus is sales so if you want that experience, that part is decent, but support  after that suffers. They do not offer fair compensation and HR is not proactive when dealing with people.

-Provided valuable experience in a faced paced logistics based warehouse environment. (SAP) (RF scanner)

-Management was supportive and instilled a great sense of team awareness and cohesiveness within the workplace

-Co-workers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were an efficient unit

-Not so physically demanding but some orders exceeded 80 lbs 

-Competitive pay rate and holiday pay. Training and benefits available
