What is the best part of working at the company?
The staff are all great people. The owner Chris Brace is a fair and a great employer.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When it's busy it's very busy, you need to be able to keep up. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone gets along there, they all assist each other. They have great support.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When the machinist were still there, there were lots of first off inspection and in process inspection.

A small company, that was mismanaged and poorly ran, I learned basic CNC operating. a typical work day was from 6am-2:30pm. My co-workers were excellent people to work with, but due to high turnover, you never got to work with them for long. The hardest part of my job, was going to work, and not knowing if I would still have a job by days end. The most enjoyable part of my job, was the building itself was new and clean, and the people I worked with.

Typical day is a lot of stress,  they push to work faster with no mistakes. Learned that I/we do not deserve to be treated like slaves. Lower mgmt are there for owners beck and call but were great to work with. Workplace culture is work hard, work fast. Hardest part of job is no training. Most enjoyable part of job is making lasting friendships.

I can only say great things so far. Everyone has been so welcoming and it's truly a fun, laid back work environment where everyone seems genuinely happy to be coming to work everyday. The atmosphere is extremely open and collaborative. So far, nothing not to love! Well ran business.

I was training for Outside Sales/International Sales, working in the Wireline Department, learning how to assemble Slickline Tools, when there were no tools to build I would keep myself busy cleaning and organizing a very disorganized shop and shipping department. I really enjoyed working until I got laid off last week.

In 2015 they made some big management changes.  Since then the company is great to work for.  Very competitive wages.  and most staff are 10 years or longer.  Very reliable place to work as a machinist.  They have a product line so work is steady.  Lots of overtime .  Great place to work .

-They had a very clean work environment. Good employes and bad management. In the 5 yrs at Brace we had 6 managers. We worked hard and got along with others. I trained the apprentice's on manual machines.

Some staff are good, however management / ownership is out for themselves. They will through a long term employee out with the garbage to save a couple bucks. You never know if you are going to get ignored or freaked out on for some random reason. 

Production staff are abused and belittled. original owner treated employees well, current not so much. Too much stress for what they are willing to pay. I've worked for over 40 years and never was i ever disrespected so bad. Culture of fear is promoted.

Times are tough in Oil Field machining but wage rollbacks many yrs ago and no returns since. Many long term disgruntled employees and oblivious management.Good people (fellow employees) Too much workload, and requests for help falls on deaf ears.
