There is very high turnover here. I worked there for 6 months and quickly realized I was doing a completely different job than what I was hired to do. There is no clear direction from management and they are constantly pulling you away from one duty to go do another because they are constantly short staffed. 
There are a few gems here that help you out without hesitation however there is no collaboration amongst employees and many of them won’t help a new person and will just ignore emails that are sent to them that directly relate to their jobs. The culture here can be very toxic. 
Inside sales reps are constantly dealing with customer complaints about damaged products, delivery mix ups and many other issues. Solving issues can be very frustrating as again some of the employees in other departments don’t want to help. 
The working hours are longer than most companies. There is no work from home option and your time off allotment per year is minimal compared to most companies. 
I would not recommend working here. 

Busy, unorganised and toxic .Everyday is busy, stressful as somebody has not followed policy book.  Managers, Director themselves do not follow their policy book but expect employees to be on the dot. Yelling, swearing by President is a norm too. Appreciation is a rare thing and favourites get perks. Every obscure corner of the building is a Gossip corner and grapevine reaches the presidents office. No growth can be expected as there is no sincere effort shown from managements side to motivate  and offer conducive environment for growth.

I enjoyed my time at Brenlo as I learned many new sales techniques and knowledge on household renovation products which I never had an understanding or appreciation for prior to working for Brenlo.

Daily challenges were present as closing sales could be quite difficult at times. Dealing with families set to spend a few thousands dollars to renovate can be tough, but through training and elementing my teachings I was able to find success.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Benefits are good, some people are competent and willing to help.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Unorganized, push too much work onto those whom actually do their job. Management has no idea what they're doing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Overall Very Toxic work environment

Delivery of wood, mouldings and doors are no easy work. It is physical, it requires consistently lifting heavy doors, wood and mouldings. Very unfortunate and unfair to see that the pay was less than $20/hr. Even after passing my probation and showing strong work ethic and commitment, they still refused to grant a pay raise. Had to work long overtime in order to make a barely living.

Fun environment. A great atmosphere & lots of opportunities for growth. Great Management who listens to ideas. Customers keep coming back so you start to grow friend relationships everyday, except for the very odd one :). Couldn’t ask for a better place.

Good boss-employee relations. 
Most "want to try new things" experience in my entire career.
Co-workers are open to try new systems.
There are a few critics but so  too in any family.


Fast paced environment, management has an open door policy, very transactional environment which can be stressful at times, but rewarding. Fun environment 

Management is extremely unorganized.  Favoritism amongst departments. No accountability. Poor customer service.  Long hours. Very few perks. Employee 

A great place to work at. Very nice staff. Company has high ambitions & supports their workers. New Management are great to work with & listen. Everyone is treated equally. Highly recommend.
