Most days were the same. The Morning Group of workers would clock in and wait for a pre-shift meeting telling workers amount of work and specified each workers job throughout the day. I enjoyed Picking Orders of Beer on pallets cause it made the day go by faster and also I enjoyed the physical work so I normally would be on the pick floor picking all day, listening to music ( bonus). All of the Co-workers on the floor or around the pick floor are very friendly and helpful if I ever needed anything, I was sonority over Majority so usually I'd help them find/locate product. The place was terribly managed and it was rare management would even tell pickers about new product or location that was on pick floor. Hardest part of job would be communication between the Management, Fork lift Drivers, and Supervisor, everyone expected the other person to do the extra work so the individual wouldn't have responsibilities themselves. I've Learned a lot about the different beer products, age codes ( tell if I am buying old beer), Learned different culture, also learned about  behind the scenes of Liquor Marts and Beer Vendors. The hardest part of the job was the lack of communication without a doubt. But the overall experience, and people I've met through the job made it the most enjoyable part. Plus I also enjoyed the challenge.

poor advertisment, poor trucks and equipment, very cheap, poor job security, poor customer service company wide (delivery level was good).
Co workers..great....all worked hard with the exception of one or 2.
the hardest part of the job was driving onto the customers lot with poor equipment (embarrassing|)
The customers are Fantasitc to deal with...always happy to see the Beer Guy.

Your usual warehouse work.
Very understanding management team.
Lifting the 5L kegs filled is the hardest part of the job.
I've learnt how to operate a Forklift in my 2 years experience.
The use of a power jack is the most enjoyable part of working there. (Training provided for power jack)
Cash register training is also provided.

It's a fast pace environment with key focus on safety and KPI targets, customer satisfaction, and timely deliveries. Everyday is a new day of experience - people are good and very professional from order picker up to management. It has brought in me a lot of experience and satisfaction on how supply chain works in this industry it belongs.

Training consisted of throwing you on routes with no previous experience with other drivers who knew the routes exclusively, and then those drivers were complete jerks or drug addicts. They were all smokers; this meant they smoked in the cabs and trailers. They were all alcoholics; I had to cover for a guy who was still drunk from st. Patrick’s day the day after. I worked at a cross-dock but the person who was “in charge was a secretary.

Average employer. Not much to write home about in the position of Warehouse Order Picker. Was in there as  Seasonal Temp.staff. Required to pick an average of 250 pieces per hour, wrap, and complete order.

It’s a workplace where the management doesn’t care about you and you get no benefits until you have worked for years. No work life balance and too strict. 

Great team in Victoria,  good team work, people and staff got along.
I would still be employed there if the Victoria warehouse hadn't closed. I had expectations of staying until retirement.

Flexible hours.  Management is easy to work with in regards to scheduling around school hours, other jobs, etc.  Work is simple and straightforward.  Unionized warehouse environment.

Not the worst company to work for.
Flexible hours.
Good with students
Management is okay.
Lots to learn from operational wise, but not a lot of guidance from management.
