I thoroughly enjoyed working at Broan Nutone. for the first few years until everything changed. People were coming and going daily. there were layoffs as the business started to slow down. The learning opportunities were always available. I was able to experience many jobs at Broan which I am extremely thankful for.

Sometimes busy. To make yourself busy you have to find job yourself. Work with the Machine operators to  learn, solve  problem with less downtime.  Management sometimes don't listen to complain. Working with co-worker as a team.The hardest part of the job is working with somebody who is lazy and doesn't want to learn. The enjoyable part of the job is  learning something new and also upgrading yourself.

Can not stress enough the people are amazing and the compensation, community feeling, and perks of the role are great, but the challenge comes in actually performing your job. Organizational structure is muddy and unclear, often contradictory, and execution of deliveries and managing customer expectations is sub par.

Typical day starts off at 0800 amd and winds down at 04:30 or 05:00 pm....very relaxed atmosphere, collaborative team work, busy periods due to call volume experienced at certain times as Customer Service based environment.

It is one of the best companies I have worked for: friendly environment, positive safety culture, good management team.  A great number of people worked for BNC for 20+ years and more. Unfortunately, BNC will be closed down in March 2018.

Everyone treats you like family, very close knit. Atmosphere is casual and laid back. Job promotion is very rare at administrative level in comparison to our sister companies. If the facility remained open I will stay for as long as I can.

on weekend, I learnt so many things in workplace.The management was good.The co- workers are very helpful.The hardest part of the job is some times we need to lift big boxes.The most enjoyable part of the job is on christmas day,they will provide free lunch.

My opinion of my job is I enjoyed working on the vacuum line. Company benefits is excellent. Enjoy working with people on different lines. It was a team work and well organized.

a good job while it lasted. they closed due to no upgrades to manufacturing processes and moved the facility to the united states and Quebec. putting 200 people out of work
