A typical day at work with Brock starts with a condescending tool box meeting. Everything stated during the meeting is what has to be said because corporate safety sends daily toolbox meetings via email and the supervisor “has” to read it. Everything said during the meeting goes out the window as soon as toolbox is done. It quickly becomes go go go, and if you can do it safely then I guess it’s a bonus. Every slower that doesn’t wear a white hat is just a number, unless you’re friends with a foreman or someone higher than the foreman position. And they let you know that. I’ve never seen such a negative overall environment than a Brock environment. They do not stand behind their employees. The beatings will continue until morale improves seems to be the BSafe culture they promote, not an actual safety culture. Long serving employees turn into ghosts if there is an incident, and zero support for those employees when there absolutely should be. That’s where the employee is just a number belief comes in. Brock does employee a few good supervisors, but most of the good ones are below the GF level. It’s a mess of a company, but they have a ton of work so they upper tier of employees don’t really care because the cheques still come rolling in. The most enjoyable part of being a Brock employee is days off. 

They want a rope access team but they don't understand how to have one. The other managment on site basiclly treats you as a leeser life form . Just complete lack  of moral. They even decide to take perks at will. They also consistently mess up your pay. I have never seen anything like it. You'll also have to wait 6/7 months before you get benifits. One last very important aspect. 0 O.T if you are expecting to live in canada anymore.

 Poor  working culture due to the really bad materials, no leadership from the site supervisor or from my foreman, no one really cares about anything,very poor morale with a high absenteeism rate, one of the lowest wages in the industry, little to no appreciation for a job done well,the list goes on. One of the worst companies and sites that I have been on. Will not be going back,ever! 

American company moved into Alberta, low balled all the contract bids to get the work. 
Think they are going to change the industry, make it into a "right to work" place like their home state of Texas. Hire inexperienced sycophants as management, (check box checkers). People who would not buck the system. Union busters. The good thing is that they must soon be tired of working for nothing. When this happens, they will likely lose some contracts.

They are very rude but not all some know how to treat good men with experience some management that they hire is heartless and don’t have enough experience to run jobs ! I will never work for them again they don’t tell you in advance that you are going to install aerogel before you fly up to the site  and this product is deadly in the long hall !!! 

It was great to learn more about Brock and good team when it comes work and maintenance of work also good safety  therefore i would like to work more than the previous since they are workers who you understand welll

I have worked with an awesome group of individuals. Everyone including Management is approachable and friendly. This is a big company with lots of room for improvements and advancements still.

Their new hiring process "Spark Hire" they blame on their clients.  Assumes provincially ticketed JM an non are equally the same.  Their wages are low from 44-48 from my telephone discussions.  

 I am happy for how they welcoming and nicely spoken.

I give them full attention and respect.
 The management and staff both are very professional people who are willing to help the team.

Don't pay for your travel and pay is less than the standard going rate for each level by at least $2.
The means is not worth the sacrifice at all.
They hate paying overtime and only do it if it's a legal requirement.
