Day starts at 6 am with a toolbox meeting, then out to the truck to preform safety checks, then begins a 12hour day of driving from loading area to waste dump. I have learned more about safety issues and how to risk manage as well as care and maintenance of various crushers and conveyors as well as safe operation of various heavy equipment. Management is very safety conscious and open to suggestions for making the job site a safer place. Co-workers are very diversified and all have their own stories. Hardest part of the job would be the long hours but with that comes the financial reward so some sacrifice has to be made. The diversification and opportunity to learn .

rewind the clock back ten years and its these guys. Very old equipment, employing questionable people, ran old school. to many chiefs not enough followers a huge hinderance for the company and not a friendly environment, favouritism is abundant in this company . Almost burned my desire to want to be a mechanic.

Co workers are all in part together to achieve the best in the day everyone collaborates to achieve the product

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When the crusher breaks or a conveyor belt 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Busy lots going on good hardworking culture and safe

This company is full of arrogant, ignorant people from the management team right up to the owners. I am surprised that no one has been killed or seriously injured in thier work sites. Obvious corruption runs through this companies gains.

Field  tech and I have my own truck sub out my work. Good supervisors. Amicable environment. Lots of help if needed. Challenged to train the other techs they don't have experience in the new equipment I've been trained at Finning on lots of products

head office management positive ,onsite management questionable often bending safety rules to suit production quotas,the site i am on management works hard at keeping moral at a low level ,the crew maintains moral on their own

They don’t keep there word they will give you the run around about how you will have a job then won’t hear from them for a good month! Then when you reach out for an update they are rude about it! 

I don't agree with this 150 word minimum characters .. Broda was a good work place. they have good iron to run and pay fairly . they ran out of work is the only reason I don't work there still

I got hurt on the job and Broda did everything possible to prove that it didn't happen at work! Took me 8 months but WCB finally accepted my claim and said it did happen at work!

started as a laborer and worked my way up in the company to become an important operator on projects. the wage was very high and lots of overtime was provided.
