A typical day at Browns was very fast paced from the time you started your shift til the time you went home. I definately learned alot about time management eveything had to be done by certain times. The upper management team at Browns do not take the time to interact with the employees they are not interested in there opinions, where as site managers are all very kind and not affraid to try new things as long as they are within the companies guidlines. My co-workers at Browns were wonderful they made it easy to go to work everyday, it definately is all about team work and a great team we had. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the heat we all said there was not proper ventilation in the back kitchen were the dishes and alot of the food prep was done more often then not we would have to take turns doing things in there in attempt not to only make one person be back there because it was way to hot. The most enjoyable part of the job was the customers, students are great.

It's amazing to work around all of our troops who do our country proud. The hours and benefits aren't terrible. But the management of their department is absolutely disgusting. The things I could tell you about that department would make you want to throw up and start a riot all at the same time. They have no care for their staff. There is absolutely NO chance for advancement. You're WAY OVERWORKED and SEVERELY UNDERPAID!

My work days are usually fun not to hard. I enjoy working at the memorial center because i love sports and there is always something going on. Also for the people i work with they are great people easy to work with and to talk to if there is ever a problem that occurs. There really isnt a hard part to my job just because i've work here for so long i know how to handle everything perfectly and affectivly with out problems

The staff were warm to the idea of a student working among them, who also attended the college. Upon getting to know them all they all warmed up to me and it was a positive work environment. Mostly the boss in charge at the time was instrumental at maintaining my happiness. He was warm and kind with me always and was always a comforting person to see on the best and the worst days. Overall I enjoyed my time at Brown's and would suggest it to any first year student.

I would go to work and serve customers. I had to add up money in my head when I was working at the hockey games and make change. When I worked at the bus terminal everything was done on the cash register. At the hockey games I ordered the food and someone else made it I would have to get the drinks and popcorn. When at the bus terminal I had to do inventory, stock shelves, make the food and coffee.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Everything.wish I was still there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing. everyone worked as a team and was so friendly 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Worked at the college for Brown's and everyone was so cool and professional 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Cleaned the cafeteria,took out trash

I enjoyed my time there. It was nice to get bartending experience and the staff worked well together. There was only 1 maybe 2 shifts a week so that was unfortunate but that was due to the game schedule. Overall I enjoyed it and if it had been multiple shifts a week then it would easily have been a sustainable source of income.

Browns food service was a fun workplace, especially when there were workers with me who were enjoyable to work with. The day was filled with food prep, cleaning dishes, scrubbing pots, and serving. The days always ended with cleaning such as sweeping and mopping, and cleaning the workstations.

I have fun when I work. It is a casual job, but at the same time it pushes me to work quickly. Management is friendly and professional, and coworkers are pleasant to be around. I've attained skills such as initiative, assertiveness, communication skills, and most importantly I have become much better at working in a group or team.

- Alway 10-15 minutes early to get ready and prepare for shift, getting coffee and little things taken care of. Serving the customers and preping foods and/ or cleaning work area constanly. End of shift cleaning and closing cash register.
