I was excited to work at Brunswick Bierworks as they have a great brewery and produce great products. However my overall experience was disappointing because employees are treated poorly in ways that are easily avoidable. Schedules are provided last minute and often change. Overtime is frequently required to prevent wasted product, and employees either need to infer or find out last minute that they will be working, sometimes hours, late. This is fine occasionally, but when it's daily for many employees it's clear more resources are needed to maintain production. 

Brunswick Bierworks was probably a good place to work at some point, but that is no longer the case from what I've seen. I can't speak for other departments, but the Packaging team was miserable. Poor communication and dissemination of information often caused mistakes to happen which lead to manual "rework" of products (for example - unbox and repackage thousands of cans that got put in the wrong box, by hand). 

Prioritizing employees over production, offering competitive salaries, and hiring managers with management experience would cost very little compared to the boost the organization would receive from motivated, empowered staff. I wish them the best, but I would strongly recommend against working at Brunswick Bierworks.

Brunswick Bierworks is a great company to work for if you enjoy a fast-paced environment and being part of a collaborative team. The facility at 25 Curity Avenue is modern, well-maintained, and safety-focused. Management and leads are approachable and always willing to help, making it a comfortable place to learn and grow.

The company has a good mix of structure and flexibility — expectations are clear, but there’s room to improve your skills and move up if you show initiative. The people are friendly, and teamwork really stands out here. It’s also interesting to work with so many well-known beverage brands produced under one roof.

Brunswick claims to be a place where employees find meaning and growth, yet the reality is different than what they advertise. The way that staff is treated is as expendable. 

Management will make promises and never deliver. They will hold employees accountable for faults that arise from the fact there is not enough staff to do everything properly and safely. 

That being said, employment at Brunswick looks good on a resume so people tough it out until they get a job that will treat them more fairly. 

Been working here for the past 2 years, the employees are supportive and the work environment is great. The management always comes to the floor to check up on the employees wellbeing. Got a great team who supports and helps each other to ensure that the production goes on smoothly. The company believes and strictly ensures GMP and ensures the product is safely manufactured. Since the company has high end packaging machinery from Krones, the operators do not have to be in direct contact with the product which further ensures the quality of the product.

At first it was a company where I felt valued and supported. As they begun expanding, many of the things that made Brunswick feel like the type of job you're happy to have started slipping away. They actually got rid of many of the employees and now try to operate the place with a skeleton crew. The remaining staff are left overworked, underpayed, and unsupported. There is no clear idea on things such as raises, who's actually in charge on the floor, if you will be given an opportunity for advancement. I used to feel like that was the case, unfortunately this place has gone downhill and I would not recommend it currently.

A typical day at work is usually structured and busy, with clear responsibilities to complete. I learned a lot about teamwork, time management, and how to handle tasks under pressure. Management is generally supportive and provides guidance when needed, though there is always room for clearer communication. The workplace culture is collaborative, and most colleagues are helpful and professional. The hardest part of the job is managing heavy workloads during peak times, but it helped me build resilience. The most enjoyable part is working with a great team and seeing the results of our efforts come together successfully.

What is the best part of working at the company?
4 day weekends. That's it. Got used to the schedule but while you're on the clock. They want you to act like you're on 24 hour missile watch. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
12 hour shifts of constant stress and a sense of being rushed to meet the packaging schedule. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Small company that has been growing fast, and they are not paying or treating the employees accordingly. Working 3 times as hard for the same pay and less thanks and recognition.

I have been with Brunswick Bierworks for the past 5 years and have had the opportunity to work closely with both the brewing and packaging teams. I love being able to work with so many passionate people who have the same goals in mind. Having the opportunity to grow and develop with such a diverse team who have such large ambitions and ideas is truly inspiring. Everyday presents something new; we get the chance to challenge and prove to ourselves time and time again. It feels great to have the support of the full team when you need it! I know we can achieve anything we set out to do!
