Honestly I felt that I was blessed to work in that company. There were lots & lots of good things to talk about. Mainly the safety was first thing that came up with anything we did. The always taught us how to maintain a safe environment. 

The co-workers were amazing. Everybody was helping each other at all the time when needed and respected who ever coming form any religion or any nation and it was remarkable. 

Anybody  who ever had lack of knowledge of anything and willing  to learn, there were always chances which give anybody to try and learn them. 

The management was significantly helpful for any worker to have a friendly & safely environment. Equality is the most remarkable feature they had. 

The hardest part of the job was that I was away from home & family  for a long time of period of every month. But it was very little disadvantage when comparing to the other positive facts from my previous job.

It is very long hours of work every day. The company want us 20 days work and 10 days off in a month. I learn many difference type of culture at work place as multi culture community in Buffalo Metis.

The management team always connection with the workers to improve work and safety. They always bring issue from what the employer want for the company. They teach to employee if any change. Example workload, new law from government etc.. 

I am always enjoy with my co-workers not only in Buffalo Metis, most of my previous workplace as well.
The hardest part of the job is rotating shift.

The most my enjoyable of the jobs are learning new skill for future hope.

Wapasu is a very busy camp. Housing up to approx. 2000 clients.The staffing there are great to work with. A few laughs here and there makes a long day a lot less stressful. I have learned a lot of new skills  working here especially while working at the Front Desk.
Having good communication  and customer service skills are greatly an asset. I really enjoyed working with clients helping them  with any issues concerning their stay in camp. Being in a camp for the length of time most of us spend here we need to respectful and considerate of one another. We"re all there for the same reason.

a typical day at work consists of greeting everyone I work with.  Starting with toolbox meeting about safety and daily updates.  
Management keeps us informed daily of new bookings and procedures.  Co-workers are always ready to lend a hand; great teamwork.  Also fun to work with.  The most enjoyable part of the job is meeting people from all over the world and learning something new everyday.

Typical day included cleaning living quarters for up to 40 people. you worked 21 days on and 7 off. Hours worked ranged from 8- 12 hours a day. Learned time management and independent skills. Also learned a lot about the people working in the oil sands. Management was great, and changed while I was working there. Co-workers became family. the hardest part was adjusting to the workload (mainly during training). The most enjoyable part was the people, both co-workers and clients

The worker are what made this place a great place to work. I met a lot of different people and different cultures.  I learned a lot.  The company could practice safety more like they preach it.

This is my first camp job in my Cookery Life. I've been working there for 6 years. I learned a lot of safety rules and regulations there. We had a good teamwork. My chef and my supervisors are very good person and knowledgeable.

Working 20 days a month makes people stressful, and staying at the remote camp without access to the city for one week is hard to deal with but the paid is very reasonable.

I enjoyed the work and meet a lot of fun people, the staff were always putting together little get togethers and great activities onsite when work was complete.
