The customers and coworkers are nice, but the management is unprofessional and the work site is unsafe. Understaffed, which means you have the opportunity to make good tips if you can keep up with the fast-pace. However, management handles cash out, the tip out is insanely high and isn't given to the other staff. So you leave with less than half you make and management/owners are keeping the other portion. The kitchen workers make good food, but the buffet is dirty and not maintained. It's not uncommon to find mold on the food out for customers. I wouldn't recommend working here. There's no procedures in place for anything nor proper training, so it's very high stress.

Relaxed and busy sometimes, but mostly.
Steady With a little bit of boredom but not much there's always something to do

I have a small child in school and the managers were excellent about helping me work around my child care needs. Tips were good. Smile and treat the customers well and you will make great tips. Anyone saying otherwise just wasn’t doing their jobs! The restaurant is very clean too. I left due to maternity but I am looking forward to going back. There were lots of customers so even if the odd table didn’t tip the best you would make up for it with the big tables! Hours were great. Beats working at a bar till 2am- lol they close at 10.

The restaurant has 2 owners that are very involved in the workspace as well as past the managers they are the highest it can go, if you are a host you most likely will not get tipped out even tho it’s mandatory. A lot of the job is just cleaning but it’s not that bad. A few of the managers are a bit strict but you learn to deal with them.

I started working at Buffet Royals as a server about a month ago. The managers are really accommodating when it comes to scheduling me. I am in university and the tips are helping me pay my way thru school. Customers are nice. Place is quite busy so you can do well as a server. Place is clean.  Getting to eat before work is a bonus too! Overall I recommend working for these guys.

I like working at Buffet Royle Carvery because of the work atmosphere, my coworkers are fun and the regulars are so great. Management is also good, if i don’t understand something they take the time to help me understand. 
It’s usually busy but i dont mind it, because i like my job as a server

The management is very messy and dysfunctional, and the coworkers treat you very badly. In my experience, this was the worst job I've ever had. There were hygiene and sanitation issues within the buffet as well, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here or work here either. 

I have nothing other than to say it was really great amazing place to work for and I really learned so much i have work there off and on from the year  2008 until march 2022 but iam willing to go back if they handed with a  simple  phone call that is my second home


The biggest problem at this place is managers and owners  They only care about their own pocket  they don’t really care about employees. If you got into any minor problem, they will  not investigate or listen to you  they will fire you without warning. I would not recommend this place  for work.
