Day started with balancing previous day and sending in all warehouse orders,performed all out oftownand Internet orders. dealt
With all account inquiries pricing issues, short shipments and negotiating product costs with suppliers. was responsible fori inventory control and seasonal and booking orders. iniated opening new accounts with new product lines, I enjoyed working with all my major accounts in searching for requested parts, the hardest part of job was instructing much younger staff value of phone etiquette
And to service all phone contacts as opportunity to make a sale. The owner manager was very young with no previous parts experience so this was reason for my departure he purchased a job rather than making a career opportunity.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. Top-down culture, low autonomy. Chaos and lack of clear vision or alignment. Management insecurity. Slow change, old-school mindset. Fear of speaking up. The best part was leaving this company for a better one.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They are so behind in everything digital, e-commerce, branding and innovation. 10-15 years behind. You know they're going nowhere, and nothing is working.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No culture at all. DO AS TOLD management style, turnovers, burnout  and micro-management.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Have a coffee and meetings. Managers are protecting their position. Credit hoarding. Blocking subordinates from visibility. Useless KPI meetings. Same every week.

Bumper to bumper bought out an mom and pop operation totally changed every aspect of the business 
Never enough staff or training is provided there is no room for advancement the wages are below average and the benefits are good until you need them overall experience was not good, months without lunch breaks very little product training constant pressure to upsell 
I understand its a business and they are there to make money but at what cost ? They use the employees up then replace them with cheaper versions

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great atmosphere, lovely people to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is no stress working at bumper to bumper. Very easy job. Just have to pay attention.

Excellent. The Bumper to Bumper I work at was very chill, and has great management 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
8-5pm Monday to Friday. Busy mornings, relaxed afternoons

Over all was a good job... however there's no place for advancement within the company so be comfortable staying in the position you were hired for. Wages rarely are increased even when you get more responsibility. They tell you what you want to hear then leave and do nothing. Titles are mostly important within the company, as long as you have a good one you are important. Some people in this company are not needed but they have great titles.

Before Uniselect got their hands on the small independent Bumper to Bumper locations, it was a good place to work. After the transition, any family type atmosphere disappeared and people who had absolutely no interest in anything but the bottom line, lost the ability to realize it’s your employees who interact with the purchasing public and make you that bottom line. 

I enjoyed the people I worked with, just not who I worked for. The existing company was locally owned and the purchased by Uniselect.  Transition to the Uniselect system was not smooth. Promises made were not kept,  Local management’s hands were always tied when having to deal with staff issues, which trickled down through the chain from top to bottom.

Cheap parts , employee pricing

Head office is un organized , doesn't really care about employees

Toxic environment, unhappy employees, frustrated employees 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Un organized and stressful , not a happy atmosphere

This just another corporate job that does not care about their employees, use how much money you can make the company. Management is a joke they do not care about you at all. There is no recourse for customers that swear or threaten physical violence, they just say the customer was having a bad day and run away and hide in the bathroom when the customer comes back in the store. 

The workload can be challenging and stressful, particularly when you're responsible for delivering 30 pails of oil and are given the impression that you are the only one who can handle it. Furthermore, decisions about your daily schedule and priorities are often limited due to the company's preference for employees that have been working a month or two earlier than me.
