Bunch Welding

Unfortunately, my experience with Bunch Projects Ltd. was very negative. The leadership lacked organization and professionalism, and communication from management was consistently unclear. Concerns brought forward by employees were often brushed off or ignored altogether.

Much of the equipment was in poor condition, which made completing tasks safely and efficiently more difficult than it needed to be. There was little interest from management in investing in better tools or maintaining what was already there.

Wages were well below industry standards, with minimal benefits or incentives to stay. For a company that expects skilled, experienced tradespeople, the compensation didn’t match the expectations or the workload.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a safe, respectful, or fair workplace in the trades.

Love working for this company! The guys I've worked with were always experienced and knew what they're doing. as a welder I'm constantly challenged with cool projects. Even when it slowed down bunch did everything they could to keep guys busy working in the yard or out at the owners ranch, very rare to find that anywhere. Bunch has been around forever, they know what they're doing and work for all the major companies in Alberta. bunch rarely fires people but they expect you to work. If you don't work hard, don't expect to last. Living in rocky, you always see Bunch sponsoring many local charities which makes me proud to be with them.

long over worked days with management that doesnt care about the guy standing beside him or anyone in the room,  on multiple occasions there has been accidents on site that could have caused death and were never reported. the hardest part of working for bunch welding is knowing if your going to get paid on time with the correct hours and if your going to live another day.

The people you work with are generally awesome. The management is greedy and willing to to anything to better themselves. Will try to weasel you out of as much money as they can. Owner is a greedy slug that doesn't care about anyone but himself. Was forced to do unsafe acts constantly but preached to that safety is #1. Owner wont talk to or even look employees in the face because he only cares about money

Don’t work there
If you are not an friends or family they use you for short time than leave hang there with the carrot at the end of the stick saying next week , next week and than stop answering your call and the office is useless they let the Forman decide everything 
I almost loss my house because of them

Everyone is easy to work with inside and outside the welding shop. All personell are very professional. They are always willing to let you expand your knowledge and always gives you the opportunity to better yourself.

Worked here for 7 years, most of the employees have been there for years (15+) and I was always paid on time. Work hours were similar to other oilfield construction companies and differed depending on the project. 
Supervisors are experienced and good people to work with.

This was a good plsce to work under initial manager . 
New manager came in and assumed I knew how to do things that were out of my job description. 
No training was given for.

shop need s work foreman are good to work for yard gets old after a while should switch crews out to keep more workers around. shop work is good to fill the gap but in the field u make way more money and get more hours

The pay is dirt and the boss is the same. You would be better off going to the government for money then work there. But if you are just looking to fill up your time for little to no pay then this is the place.
