at the time management was on their phone all day talking to their family/friends, made disrespectulf comments about otger employees, expected trainer to work all day but paying them 1/3 of what was worked.

Under payed(10$ an hours)  telling you, they don't declare it and it's taxe free, but you get a t4 at the end of the year from them. so you have to pay the taxes and other fees they never charged you, while under the minimum wage.

Good job for students.I have learned to deal a lot with customer services and cleaning the gym at the same time. Perfect management, friendly staffs. The hardest part of the job was to deal with a lot of type of person while doing cancellation and contracts. The most enjoyable part of the job was to do in account payments, credit reports and learn from different type of clients who comes at the gym for their subscription or if they wanted to ask for informations about the gym.

They don’t value your time and your experience and expertise. They treat you like you are nothing. Please don’t work there. The front desk and the manager have a disconnect to the trainers. They want you to do consulting for $10 per hour and expect you to turn them into a client. Also you are required to do 1 hour group classes for $12.50 an hour. They have no perks and you must pay for your continued education as well as your CPR and your trainers insurance.

The job as a supervisor really taught me how to manage negative clients. I worked at the first one that ever opened, so obviously the procedures were not fully developed at the time. There was no commission for memberships that we signed, though, which doesn't really give incentive or motivation for the team to sell.

A day would start with general customer service giving most attention to payments, cash deposit and memberships.Co-workers are generally fun to work with, always giving off a happy vibe among others. I learned how to manage clients with financial troubles finding a common ground with the customer and the company.

Terrible Management and low pay for what they want you to do out of your job description fixing the ac???, regardless managers are never their and Human Resources is never their. Easy job but when managers come in expect a job your simply not prepared for!

This is an ok job for student the hours work with their shedules and I feel you can learn a lot of confidence in speaking with the clients the main objective is to get contracts for the yearly memebership but the only thing is there’s no commission in my opinion that a win for them and a loss for the employee 

very nice and inviting place to work. very hard to manage the day and night shifts in personal life. understanding and flexible work schedule. managers are cool. money was alright for the amount of work wasnt enough salary.

The staff is very young and do not know basic work requirements. The management team barely trains you and expects you to know everything. If you want a supportive and inclusive team, look else where. 

Pros:
Regulars are nice
Cheat day is a fun bonus
Easy work once you get the hang of it
Cons:
Underpaid for what the work is
Huge turnover rate
Some from head office can be condescending

But overall it varies gym to gym which team you get
