I have worked at ByNature for about 4 years now. I started as a junior designer, the first in Toronto. I quickly adapted and am now a Project Manager and a partner in the company. 

If you like plants, helping people, challenges and rising to the occasion, this is basically a perfect workplace!

We really try to create a good work-life balance for our staff as we work closely with architects, designers, general contractors and residential clients. The work is demanding, but the sense of accomplishment, pride and personal/professional growth is a great bonus.

We have staff days, trade shows, paid lunches several times per year, and on top of that we provide a very niche service that involves everyone. 

A very inclusive workplace, pay is fair, very fun team!



I had the pleasure of working with this company specializing in the creation of moss walls, and I have to say it was a good experience. I started with production where they showed me their professionalism and a real passion for what they do (panel design),Their attention to detail and commitment to using sustainable materials is really impressive. What sets this company apart is not only the quality of their walls, but also their commitment to customer satisfaction. What's more, the team's knowledge of the different types of moss and their ability to create maintenance-free walls is brilliant. There are great benefits to being with this company as outside of work we had meals together or even staff days which was really cool. I would recommend this company to anyone who is creative and likes to work with plants.

I'll be honest, my pay did not start off great but quickly advanced once I got through probation and showed results. It's a small(ish) business that is constantly busy so you must be a team player and show initiative to do well. If you are simply just looking for a quick job with great pay, this may not be your place. I love it because it is more casual than corporate, the team is young and diverse, great staff events/flexibility for enjoying life outside of work and always opportunities to grow with the company with the right attitude. If you do have a passion for the industry and have great work ethic, then game on! 

I felt welcomed by the team from the first day I started working in the company, friendly co-workers and, a nice and positive work environment to gain Canadian experience. ByNature designs and manufactures great moss walls, and it was great to help put some of them together. It is an easy job that does not require previous experience since they train you in the workplace. Unfortunately, the salary is a bit low but it is a great place to start and learn new skills. Some good benefits such as stuff days, lunch once a month, birthday cakes, and unexpected snacks here and there were cool. I would recommend this company to anyone with a creative mind who likes to work with plants.

I am really enjoying my time at ByNature, it is very much "startup vibes" with lots of opportunity for growth and testing out new ideas. The owners, and managers actually care about what you have to say and will try anything once!  

They care about how comfortable you are, and will buy any ergonomic device you need. (I have a standing desk, new mouse, and standing pad)

The culture is so fun and uplifting, we go out for social drinks on Fridays. There is a weekly breakfast, and monthly lunch.

The studio and warehouse is located in an inspiring artist loft.

I would recommend ByNature if you love plants, moss, and creating!  

Working at By Nature has taught me a lot about biophilic design and what it is like to work with designers and contractors. Plus you learn how to create art using moss and preserved plants. Some days can be tough and fast paced due to deadlines, but the days fly by.  What makes this place great is the people, everyone is welcoming and fun and easy to talk to, including management. The  managers have worked hard to create a fun and inclusive environment at By Nature, and the company offers things like staff days, lunches and tims days which are a great bonus. 

I have been working at Bynature for 4 years and it is a unique experience professionally and personally speaking. I started as a Production Assistant and evolved over time to become a Logistics and Operations  Manager.

Bynature  is constantly growing and can offer new responsibilities fairly quickly if you invest. You learn every day.

The company's culture is focused on cohesion and team spirit, helping each other to move forward together. This is the right place, if you're looking for challenges and fun team to work with!





By Nature is located in an atypical building, full of artists.  
The company is quite small and very friendly.  
The team shares lots of quality time, breakfasts, one free meal per month and even a cake for EVERY birthday!  
I learned non stop every day about preserved Moss/fern, something quite atypical and exciting.
  We had little or no stress, with excellent communication between management, designers and production. 
 I recommend 100% this company or I had only good times
