What is the best part of working at the company?
People were awesome, tips were better than any hotel I worked at. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lifting the potato boxes were heavy but anyone will help you with that. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Cozy and not the least bit stuffy.  You can learn all positions there if you wanted to. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I only worked a few hours per shift, but I cleaned up any dishes that were there and then got started on cutting the fries.  Kept an eye on the dishes while trying to cut fries and keep ahead of the kitchen which was challenging when it got really busy.

Most days are slow and chill, there are rushes in the evening for dinner time. The problem is that managing doesn't know how to train and blames everything on the employees even when it's clearly their own fault. Management also likes to yell when things don't go the way they want. If you're not Filipino be prepared to not understand when the staff are talking half the time or what Management is yelling about. It's company policy to not count your own tips - theres a reason why and also a reason why it's hard to trust anyone here. Management expects servers to do everything from serve drinks, food, prepare food, dishes, and clean  bathrooms.

The staff is amazing, every coworker is great and super helpful. The work is very straight forward and easy to do and the menu is small so easy to learn. But, the management is a joke. The manager is extremely patronizing and rude. He won’t even acknowledge your existence until you’ve worked there for around 2 years. Unless he’s yelling orders at you, then he’ll talk to you right away. If you have any questions about work or your shift, if you ask for clarification it’ll be taken as a personal attack to the manager and you’ll be treated like dirt. Stay far far away! 

It was easy for the most part, the only challenge was making fries. You have to carry 80-100lb bags of potatos to the kitchen then put them in a manual chipper while juggling other duties at the same time. They would run out twice a night during a shift so you had to do that multiple times a night. The servers are so so so lazy. They won't even scrape the plates off before dumping the dishes where ever. They don't even look where they dump the dishes. Absolutely no organization

Truly I’ve never felt so degraded has a human being, this job was extremely stressful, management was so rude 100% of the time, oh and plus horrid hours 15 hours in TWO MONTHS after constant asking for more hours, anyways don’t work here, bad management, rude customers, and worst of all worst co workers literally ever. 

C-Lovers Kelowna is a great place to work. Over the years the management has put together a team of very friendly and welcoming people. New employees are welcomed in with a smile and everyone is very helpful.

A great company to get started serving with, love the current manager and never had workplace drama! The busy days are super fun and I find everyone is always helping each other happily in a rush!

It was a good place to work at, it would of been better if I didn't have to work with the boss' daughter and the manager said that if I continued to make mistakes that I couldn't continue to work here so I just quit on my own 

Was a fun place to work but at the time most staff was underpaid for the work they would perform.   Manager and owner were awesome to work for.    I would've stayed if the pay was a bit better 

Was a good job for highschoolers to work  no complaints however the scheduling was annoying. They often paid low wages and employed bottom of the barrel labour though
