I learned a lot about food prep and cooking techniques. Staff is very friendly and the kitchen facilities are very nice/well kept. The lodge that you work in is phenomenal with amazing views of the Niagara escarpment and ski hills. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting to make your own lunch and free skiing on the days you aren't working!

outdoor environment.  Culture is everyone working together to drive the company into the future

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meet up with my fellow employees plan out our day then get at it

The people I worked with were amazing and I enjoyed supervising the 12 cashiers; great staff. I enjoyed serving and assisting the private ski club members and helping out in the kitchen during peak times. I only wished I had more time with my family (my boys) as I had to work every weekend and holidays (with the exception of Christmas).

Awesome place to work.  Working with children is very rewarding and keeps the work environment original.

Typical day consists of teaching young athletes skills and techniques about racing and or terrain park.

Co-workers range in age and experience, job shadowing for the younger coaches is common.

I loved working with kids in an athletic environment.

my experience at caledon ski club was the best first job anyone could get. i trully have nothing bad to say about the way things are done and the people working there.

I was a junior ski instructor at Caledaon where I enjoyed learning from the more senior instructors and the head of the training program.  I enjoyed leading my classes of children and felt a particular sense of accomplishment watching them advance their skiing abilities.

Its a great place to work, everyone is so nice, variety of age groups and job opportunities within. Highly recommend for high school students who need a winter job, the season is usually end of November - end or march. They accommodate to your schedule amazingly.

This company takes excellent care of their employees. They are excellent with recruitment and making you feel welcome back each winter. They are fantastic with scheduling if you have school or other prior commitments.

The day would start with prep of the food and then prep for the lunch rush when all of the members would come in for lunch.The co workers were amazing and funny to be around.
