Leadership roles were sometimes given to people who did not yet have strong management or mentoring skills. This may explain why manager reviews look positive, even though the actual experience on the ground felt different. In some cases, I was not given enough work or clear responsibilities, which made it difficult to fully perform or demonstrate my abilities.

When a new employee is left wondering what is expected of them, it suggests that communication and expectations are not clear. During my time there, turnover seemed relatively high, and many employees and supervisors had short tenures. Roles and responsibilities changed frequently, and the structure was not always clear.

The onboarding and training process felt inconsistent. Feedback from different people was sometimes contradictory, which created confusion about expectations. Some managers and supervisors seemed to lack experience in providing clear and constructive feedback.

At times, promotions and leadership opportunities did not seem fully aligned with experience or readiness. Communication between teams was not always consistent, and role changes sometimes happened without clear explanation. Overall, the employee experience varied a lot depending on the department and direct manager.

In a workplace with many new employees, stronger training, clearer structure, and more consistent leadership would likely improve retention and overall performance.

Most horrible College intended to ruin an employees career, do not work for them. As an employee every one who had served expect good recognition in return or pat in the back, but from here don't expect anything good only horrible responses. You will one day regret working for them.

The management treated the faculty and students unfairly. Classes would be interrupted by the management, who would go on a hysterical rant about irrelevant matters.

Teachers weren’t paid well enough for the work they had to do outside of teaching lectures all day. There were also no reasonable time off, even during dangerous icy storms.

It is a mix of academic yet very comfortable and friendly environment.  The satisfaction you get from helping a student reach their career goals is priceless.

It is fun and enjoyable in communicating people as well as your co-workers because you learn a lot from them, but ofcourse pick the good traits and be prgressive for better improvement.

Seems like you are the only one working. No possibilities for career and financial growth. They will always try to sweet talk you into staying and with false promises with no intentions to keep them. 

CACC is a growing and interesting place to work in. Worked there on contract but it was amazing working there. Lovely people and lovely co-workers. Wished my contract lasted more. Everything was good.

Great work place and very professional and organized work culture. Very cooperative staff and supportive management. Loved working with Canadian All Care College.

Fantastic work environment! A wonderful and supportive team of administrators and directors! They work tirelessly to implement great systems, communicate well with instructors and provide help and support when needed. Overall, great experience!
