I’ve worked for Cannabis Xpress for 2 years and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with them. I’ve learned so much about the industry and products over the years. The system at the store has allowed us to research every single product and answer any questions customers have. 
Daily tasks include; opening / closing the store, cashing in your till and safe, tracking the daily & monthly budget, tracking your daily sales (IPT/KPI), communicating with staff online, maintaining store organization & cleanliness 
Weekly tasks include; inventory counts for product and accessories, bringing in OCS orders to supply product for the week, arranging product on shelves properly and label all product manually, track your weekly sales, product knowledge meetings with different companies and staff members to expand knowledge 
The hardest part of the job is learning product but once you know it you know it. It took me about a month to learn where every product was and what different products targeted based on the THC, Strain, cannabinoids etc. 
The environment is welcoming and understanding. It’s a smaller dispensary but that’s something I love about it,  it has a more intimate coffee shop type of feel.
 They offer a lot of training and assistance. It feels like a team and we each have a spot / role in the team. Even the amount of help I’ve received from other stores staff as well as upper management. I’ve loved working here and interacting with staff as well as customers from the community. 

I have been employed here for almost 3 years and it has its ups and downs like any job. But one thing I can say is that it has taught me many skills and has also taught me how to be unbiased in selling cannabis because what may not be my cup of tea might be the best product for someone else. There are many ways you can communicate with your co-workers as well if you need help or clarification on anything, if you need anything from management also they are okay if you give them a call or text and will get a response faster than if you email them, they would much rather have their day interrupted by a call from you clarifying something than you being unsure of what you are doing. The more familiar with product you are and the more comfortable you are with cannabis the easier the job is in my opinion. If you make it known you are welcome to growth opportunities within the company they will work with you on how that can be achieved and what goals need to be set and what steps need to be taken. Overall, this has been one of the best places I have worked!

Cannabis Xpress is a great place to work if you are a real fan of cannabis, the culture around it, and the customers and communities it brings together. There is lots to learn and many ways to grow your skills if you are willing and motivated. This company is rapidly expanding and with so much reliance on upper management sometimes, this can make it feel as if they are spread too thin to execute and communicate projects that would go a long way to raising the standards of their workforce. This industry is really, really tough to advance meaningfully and Cannabis Xpress is certainly no exception. The teams that actually operate the stores in person are very small, not much about the job is "difficult" as long as you can get along with your coworkers and have each other's backs. 

I find the workplace culture is unique, blending a passionate community with high-stakes retail pressure. It often feels like a mix between a trendy coffee shop and a highly regulated pharmacy. You work closely associated with management and staff from other stores. It is definitely more laid-back compared to the traditional, corporate retail, but working with the customers throughout the day and finding what they are looking for is always rewarding.

Toxic work environment, lack of support from ownership and management.

Alone, generally calm unless its a  busy location.

slow, quiet, able to keep up with cleaning and customers

Working at Cannabis Xpress has greatly contributed to my growth as a Store Lead. Upper management is highly responsive and quick to address and resolve any concerns, which fosters a positive work environment. The team atmosphere is truly exceptional, with a supportive and engaging network that is always willing to lend a hand. It's a fantastic place to develop both professionally and personally.

Days are very slow with few customers coming in, and if you think you can help with that don't bother. 

They don't care about what their employees or customers want, they bring in products with brands they have deals with and then create "incentives" to push only these products.

Be prepared to work 7 days a week- this is a second job to most staff, and one they really could care less about.



Overall a terrible work environment, no adequate training, horrible upper management/owners that feels the need to inflate their own job responsibilities to act and speak with delusional superiority to their front line workers. 

I really enjoy being part of the team at cannabis xpress. It's been a very big change for me , going from manuel labour to being indoors helping people put a smile on their face . Its been very rewarding 

I left very quickly after seeing how management treats their staff, which was passive aggressive and rude, expecting a lot from a position that says you’re a “budtender.” 
There is minimal support for you when you’re working, and you work alone in the store from open to close. 
The job itself is easy enough, but the company has no heart.
