CAT Rental Store

Was a really good place at the first but then I was having some saftey concerns on the truck rigging and nothing was done about until I got hernia trying to get up and down off off deck of truck.  I ended up getting surgery and then the truck was fixed. 
Once I came back to work I felt that I was being pushed out and that's what happened. Not very good management there at all.

Working at United Rentals is great because they really enforce safety at a high level. This company also has great benefits.
Cons
Working at United Rentals involves a Lot of hard work on the sun. You also stay busy ally day.
Advice to Management
Continue to push safety everyday. Make sure that is the priority everyday. Make sure your employees are taken care

I had so many branches with so much work I don't think I would want to handle all that responsibility again. I had to do all the AP and AR and Payroll for four branches it was just too much and payroll. I don't think I was paid enough.

The Cat rental store is good for younger people starting out in the work force. The wages are poor. Management is disorganized most of the time. Its not very structured as to who does what and how its done. With the head office in an other province communication is very poor.

Working for the Cat Rental Store you are continuously challenged to improve and learn. I served multiple roles and expanded both professionally and personally.

Very Safety orientated, many new processes based on improving the safety culture. limited fleet size for the market. it was great helping grow from a small starting company. The company doubled in size while I worked there.

It was an amazing place to work however we have recently been taken over by Finning where this is no longer the case.

All Finance positions have been absorbed by the Corporate office.

Sometimes you have up and down experiences ,you learn hoe to build each others self estream up when times got tight or tuff .to build that team work Experiences .

It is hard long work but it pays well and enables benefits and advancement throughout the company. The management isn't always the easiest to work for but the other employees are great.

Great company to work for great wages management is ok, worked with a great group of people. union! great benefits. very family oriented. I was sad to have to go.
