Being a referee can be difficult at times. Such as making the right call when a game is close or when you have parents or coaches in your ear. Everyday is different because, of the children you see and how you approach every game. Working for the organization has assisted me in enhancing my time management and working under pressure skills.

Prepare fields with pylons and make sure the correct length of end zone are made and then situate every player with their flags before game starts. Then pretty much refer 2 games each day then pack up and head home after everyone has left.

Although I was only made as an honorarium, the experience was amazing. Some boring days and sometimes some angry parents but, in the end it was a good experience.

Great experience working alongside awesome staff members. Fun and exciting new activities taught to the campers. Creative and unique work environment that allows for adventure and discovery to take place.

You are able to be in any 3 positions; score-keeping, reffing, or coaching. It was fun being a leader to little kids. It was a light job, there was no pressure in your work.

After working at Camp Brebeuf, a CYO run camp near Guelph, I am confident in saying that it is one of the most fun and welcoming work environments in the world.

If your willing to deal with reffing middle school kids and deal with their parents yelling at you then this is a good job for you. Its stressful, and hard but it pays well.

Squirrettes wasn’t overall terrible. It was a volunteer thing. I’d say great experience for young teens, it was fun as well. Met new people and helped with children

Was able to learn helping skills, listening skills and communication skills through this experience. Enjoyed working around and with people.
