I would work 10 hour shifts as a General foreman in which I used my many years of experience to complete many tasks that were assigned that day. I've learned that relying on the people under my supervision and in upper management made the job task at hand turn out for the better. Team work was an important factor in getting the job complete in such a busy environment. The hardest part of the job was commuting to and from work which involved adding at least two hours to my already long day. The best part of my career at CBS was having the opportunity to expand my knowledge of supervisory roles and further gaining the confidence to lead large groups of workers.

Attend pre construction meetings, discuss hold points indicated on the ITP, in field inspections, set up turnover packages etc
My forte is civil structural & architectural but had mech/elec subcontractors working for us which was a very valuable experience
Very easy going construction team, everyone is on the same page and respect the quality program. 
Hardest part of the job is training new Forman or supervision when it comes to implementing the quality program. Some come from a commercial background

I have nothing but five star ratings for the work atmosphere and my fellow colleagues. The work ethic was that of being with family all day long . We often worked 12 hour days but time flew by . Being part of this team brought a brightness to my future and respect for my trade . With all the work we accomplished together as a team we made things roll in a very productive and safe environment. I will always be greatful for my experience with CBS and still to this day I have contacts with many of my coworkers and management.  Great experience for me .

CBS employs great people whom I enjoyed working with. The company is extremely disorganized and behind-the-times when it comes to IT. A small outfit in the oil sands, they did not appear to have much emphasis placed on business development, and would rather let business come to them - perhaps a product of the industry as I was there during peak oil prices.

Working with CBS has been a great experience. I have met a lot of great people working for this company. I have gained years of experience, had a lot of laughs and build life long relationships. Only down fall would be there is no room for advancement within the organization. Overall 9 out of 10!!

Stress free work. Learned my responsibilities easily. Co-workers are very cooperative and works as a team. Importantly, safety is always the focal point of the day before starting any activities on site. The hardest part was working during winter season doing your job as an inspector.

I worked for this company for over 7 years worked on different sites with the comany they have made me time manage my work to help perform more tasks (multi task) on the job also great safety record amazing work atmosphere .

Our immediate boss was very knowledgeable and was struggling to change the culture of the company however, as he met resistance that impacted our jobs.

Amazing company with amazing people, was always positive, was able to take time off as needed with no complaints. Everyone is knowledgeable about what needs to be done and they always prioritize safety m.
