everyday is a different day,with different demos,and the learning skills happen to be fast learning. the management at grande prairie location are great to work with. they are willing to accomodate the perferred days ,expectally when you have family , and when scheduled shifts , most of the employees attend. We do happen to have mixed cultures, that do work with the cds canada in grande prairie,alberta. Everyone does  get along. The hardest part of the job would be the constant talking of the demo. The  most part of enjoying the job is =  communicating with others, the cooking demos=expectally when you llike to cook, and to see the smile on our customers faces while they take interest in the product that we are sampling.

Costco members/shoppers can be rude

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not a lot of training given. Errors are corrected as mistakes are made.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Preparation of food samples. Fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment.

My review for this company is they demand off of you to stand there and deal with complain and with people who are so rude that CUSTOMERS don't understand sometimes it's free and it a little simple and ask how come it's not ready how come you're not fast how come you only give this much little the company don't pay you enough they don't even give don't even giving you a raise

 Professional environment with skilled and collaborative co-workers. Decent computer equipment and systems and workspaces. Lots of long term employees - good for help, problem for advancement. Not much training, learn on the job.

when giving samples it was stressfull but the day went by so fast now without its boring the managers were not good . they made you feel like dirt and your job was not sucure but now they have an excellant manager. when they start samples again under the new manager it would be a better job to have.

Manager did not know how to do the job, and said that she was not trained properly. You could not ask her information, because she did not know. Most of the staff asked me what they should do. The rest of the staff were good to work with.The worst part was not getting proper breaks. You either got them both at the same time, of over 4 hours between breaks.

It was a nice, quiet, friendly environment to live in. 
Everyone was welcoming, generally respectful, and a diversified workplace in terms of cultures and ethnicities. 
Am grateful for the experience overall

I cook and serve people food samples with smile, kindness and high food safety standard and talk about the product in specific way to encourage them to by it

Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.
Provide excellent customer services, including assessing the needs of the customer to best recommend products.
Other duties as assigned


80% of person working at this place do absolutely nothing, the manager doesn’t seem to care . No supervision and most of students don’t want to work, stay on there cell phone or pass there time in the bathroom, so that way it’s a easy day for them, so good salary for what they have to offer.
