A typical day at work would be to accomplish all the task assigned during the toolbox meeting without any delay and error. I've learned a lot working with CG not only on how a transformer is built but also how to deal with my co-workers in a Canadian workers environment. My superior and co-workers were all good and they give chance to new guys like me to prosper and be familiar with all the process of the job. I can say that the hardest part of the job is lifting materials and the most enjoyable is when a job is finished and you can move on again to a new job.

• P.M. on some equipment and machinery everyday. Troubleshooting in some cases.
• What I've learned most is how to manage time and balance it in different areas.
• Management is good in terms of providing  what we need in maintaining and keeping the plant running 24/7.
• Good maintenance team in our department. Everybody performs well on their line of expertise.

There are so many good people who work at CG, particularly in the office.  Consistent cash flow and profitability issues hamper this company from becoming an employer of choice.  Salary's are decent, but benefits, in particular the Pension Program are amazing!

Nice people and working condition
It is very important to hire good big boss to set up the company strategic. He who be good say and can't working is harmful to the company.

Reasonable work life balance with Long working hours. Exciting work as each project is with new design concepts and Challenging goals and deadlines. Best coworkers

Depends on who owns and runs the company. I was there for almost 2 decades and went through 4 ownership groups. Place got worst as new ownership came in.

Company produces quality transformers, but with outdated equipment and processes.

The people are friendly very job orientated, always willing to help to get the job done no matter what it takes.

No process in place. Always rush. No factory management. Good people, good professionals.
