It all begins with the people you work with it will make a difference on how your experience will be and some are nice and helpful others are not and can be very rude also I’ve never met the station manager but I’ve only heard negative and bad things about her, she also only tries to look for mistakes and never acknowledges the good. You may also encounter clicks but mostly easy going place. The place is clean and nice it also has green space and park or outdoor place for lunch. On an 8 hour shift you have 1 hour lunch and a 30 minute break. 

Decent hours, a little shy on work-breaks though.  Friendly atmosphere.  Easy to speak with management.  Little or no interaction with the clientèle.  Wash the pots and pans - some scrubbing required, deliver and later retrieve the food carriers, then wash the pots and pans as needed, do some small cleaning jobs as necessary or required.

I have learnt that this is not always an easy job. Some days are easier in the sense that the residents are calmer and there aren't any incidents and other days the residents are all agitated and don't want to cooperate to help you. They are people after all but you still need to do your job and it gets more difficult when the resident doesn't want to help you out a little and it could just be because they had a bad day or they miss their family.

•	Observe patient condition, measuring and recording food and liquid intake and output
•	Take patients vital signs and blood sugar, and report to my supervisor or the charge nurse. Feed patients and help them with their walking and exercise (Ambulation and Range of Motion). Help moving patients in and out of bed and moving them from one place to another.

A typical day is fast because you have a lot to do and I like it that way. It is sure that there's place to improvement in the way that things are manage like the time that we have for one patient, etc.The team is great, but in every workship, people are different.

very stressful, i would not suggest this job to younger students like me who wanted experience...

The woman who trained me was very patient, kind, and explained everything very well to me. This allowed me to learn quickly, and work without feeling pressured.
