The staff there are without a doubt amazing!! Management is never stable. There is HUGE favoritism with management towards certain employees at this workplace. Unrealistic work goals for a 7.5 hour work day (especially if you're data entry). If you call in sick, you are pretty much made to feel guilty cause management will tell you they're short staffed and need you. You only get 3 paid sick days per year. Everyone is overworked and underpaid. There's no chance for pay raises, so dont even bother to ask. If you decide to go in early to start your day, you will not get paid for that early start. They are open on Saturday's as well, so keep that in mind.

My particular work was interesting. Worked with a small, dedicated team.

Poor middle management team. Managers had favourites who were not held accountable to work policies. Toxic work culture. Favourites slacked off, hard workers were dumped extra work.

Toxic! Favouritism! Lack of leadership from middle and senior management.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Complete daily tasks. Work with team to complete priority assignments.

Typical day very busy. Reminds you of a factory assembly line. Some employees were calling it "sweat house". Management does't really care about employee. Constant managerial meetings with closed door or nobody present. Lack of support when you really need it. Lack of balance between office/support positions and money making, production side. Four managers running this place.
The most enjoyable part of the job were coworkers. Extremely responsible and caring people. Pleasure to work with them. Thanks to my coworkers, I am surviving here.

I feel that there is way to much favoritism. I admit that I didn't handle quitting there. But my supervisor knew because I told her that I have health issue's. So instead of telling this one person to stay away and stay at his station they did absoulty nothing. Even after I told her to tell him to stay away. So I did try and apologize but they favoured him over me. .meTheAlsotvprejudiceagainst

There really is no best part. The hours were steady with no weekends, so that was good.

Very toxic environment! The management team plays too much politics.

Very TOXIC!! Management has their favourites. Some of the staff are rude. Bad language used in the workplace.

Basically entering prescription orders all day.

Classic Care Pharmacy is a very good place to learn many things.  It covers both LTC and Retirement Homes.  So much to learn in such a pharmacy.  Typical day to day is very hectic and stressful.  People are nice but lack of leadership and management support in the job.  Training for staff is not very structured. The hardest part is to learn the job in a short amount of time with very minimal training.

Client Engagement is structured and optimal.

Overall, the work itself is not too bad if you like fast-paced environment and like providing proper patient services. However, very little pay, long hours, unpaid lunch, poor management, toxic culture in general (too many gossips about the company and within staff members), there is no team work. I could go on...

Classic Care Pharmacy Burlington is a good place to learn and grow as a pharmacy technician. You will always learn something new and you will be working with a collaborative and supportive team. Everyone is warm and friendly and you couldn't ask for better workers. It can be stressful from time to time but what pharmacy isn't?
