If you asked me a few months ago I would have given all 5 stars. Since coming back from a parental leave, I went back to my old role, no changes, no new challenges aside from a new Broker Management system (awful experience overall). Up to this point I have never had any conversations about job performance improvements or area's I need to work on. I came in to work and was met at the front door and was promptly terminated without cause.
You'd expect working at a company for 18 months and never had a single problem, to have a conversation or given some alternative options of employment.

A good structure with a very strong but charismatic manager. It can be overwhelming when decisions are not made on time but it remains the best place I have worked since moving to Canada!
Imagine having your first job few months after moving countries and you can actually say it is amazing. If you can imagine, then you would understand!

Couldnt say enough good things about this company. It’s a family atmosphere with a strong and healthy culture. The leaders of CMB are going to grow this company into something truly special.

Talk to a prior employee prior to making your decision. Many prior in the Edmonton area. You'll be glad you did.

Poor communication, disorganized, and unresponsive to employee concerns. Unrealistic expectations with little support or appreciation for hard work. Toxic work environment.


Unfortunately, management will decide to yell and berate you rather than try to assist. The worst culture I have ever witnessed, avoid for your sanity

Great company to work for with focus on team, career advancement and fun cultural events! I truly enjoy coming to work everyday, the leadership team is very fair and team members are like family. 

Genuinely one of the best places I have ever worked. The culture in the office is great, the people working along side you are always willing to help and friendly! Definitely recommend 

I enjoyed working here while I was with the company. Things were done that I dont agree with, but it's their business and they make their own decision.
