A good company where you could learn how to manufacture agricultural equipment. Since it is a HMLV, you must be proactive because it is very hard to implement lean manufacturing in this environment and CNH is trying to do it. I enjoy doing kaizen since I have experience implementing the different Japanese production management tools. The hardest part of the job is you do not know what is coming because customers wants variety of models produced at high quality and at the shortest possible leadtime. You have a very short time to react.

The job I held could be highly stressful at times, but once you got into a certain groove, listing priorities before non-essentials, it was fine.  The biggest barrier I ever found, was the lack of communication, whether it be from the workers themselves or (at times) the supervisors on the floor, who have the difficult task of juggling all the aspects of production.  The biggest red flag, was lack of organization or "reacting" to a situation, rather than "proacting", by which I mean they'd wait until a part was completely diminished before requesting a refill, instead of recognizing that they were running low and should replenish in a timely fashion...

My day starts to verify payments coming in over night - Register payments into each account - some payments are received in house. If necessary gather all statements of account and produce reconcilliation of account. Call customer for payments, accounts are coming in from specific queues.
Collections account are also deal by Legal Dept.- co workers assistance are easy, we work as a team. The hardest part of the job is to deal with customers in deep money trouble and I come to bring more stress on their days.  The most enjoyable moments are to meet the montly challenge - meet all numbers assigned by management requirement

Management tries to fear monger people into doing their jobs. Human Resources Department is not their for the employees but for the company.  They pay higher wages than similar companies but because of the toxic environment they pretty much have to.  You don’t have job stability. You’re either working 70 hour weeks or being laid off for 8 weeks at a time.  Don’t think of taking your vacation when you want because their plant shut downs ensure you will be using your vacation for that or going without pay.  

Always busy doin' the assembly process for the big planter machine.I learned a lot of thing while i'm at Case New Holland in this company i learned how to used the hand power tools,the different size of torque rachet, familiarizing the wrench we always used in my work place. The management and the co-workers are very approachable.At first it is very hard for me to do all of that work but inspite of that i enjoy doin that work it's very challenging for me.

The pay is great, its labor and assembly so not great for your body, but they have scheduled layoffs where they make you take your vacation pay so you don't have any left for when you want to take vacation.  If you call in sick more than six days a year they make you sign a paper that says you will get a doctors note every time you call in sick now, even if your child is sick and you can't make it to work. The management protects the lazy old people who can barely get their work done and lays off the people who have family's and children.

The shift was very nice.
My days would start early and end early.
Management was really well, whenever there was an issue the managers would always find a solution right away.
Co-workers were fun and easy to get along with always made the days better, especially because we worked as a team.
The hardest part of the job was having to decide what works best for the company and what we can make bigger improvements on.
The staff was the most enjoyable part.

Like anywhere, sales call the shots.
Very good customer support providing it is tied to repete sales.

Do your job, prove  to be trustworthy.
And you have 100% freedom .

As Manager of Field Service Operation, you reside on the dark side of things. Nothing is ever positive at first because you are dealing with problems and concerns.
I have learned no matter the distance, there is always someone to lend a hand.
Incredible people to work with.  Everyone determined to get the job done.  People do make an immense difference when things get tough.
Hardest part of the job is saying NO. The most enjoyable is the people.

Layoffs are constant part of business.

Zero job security. Constant pressure to finish projects without necessary parts or hardware.

Nepotism at it's finest. Pay is ok, but if not part of the club consider it a temp job.

Build ag equipment if you have parts.
