What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. It was a great company years ago. Not anymore. Even the workforce is partially corrupt,which means there's so unity on the floor. Primarily because of cheap labour wages and unskilled management. I was segregated and accused when all I did was update notes on how the product comes out when there is no benchmark for quality in identifying what's passable and what's not. I.e no room for growth when I was a good worker. So I quit before I lost my dignity and professionalism.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No response or corrective action when a problem arises. Leading to lack of quality.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and unapologetically privileged .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Some days are casual and some days the higher ups or senior workers are looking for a scapegoat to blame. Inconsistent.

I can honestly say that no other place has made me dread my existence more than this one. 
First of all, when you're new you get treated badly by other employees. They'll move you around from day shift, evenings, and nights, and there's a lot of mandatory overtime. 
The pay isn't bad and I've made a lot of friends from all shifts and different departments I've enjoyed working with. I'll give them that. 
However, there is just no work life balance.
Everybody is stressed out, there's a lot of fighting between other employees, cliques, and drama. It's basically like being in High school all over again, but with people twice my age. There is no communication whatsoever and you basically get used to being thrown around everywhere. This place is not for the faint of heart and if you value your health, I would highly suggest not working here. Don't do it. 

i work in Colonial cookies for almost 4 months. uneducated and unmanned supervisors in baking department.they just know how to give you threat. management needs to train their supervisors first how to talk to employees. supervisors don't appreciate how much hard you work they just know how to make their worker down. company pay you 7.5 hour per day and give you 1 hour break but production is continuous for full 8 hours. they should pay 8 hours rather than 7.5 hours. most of people who are working they don't have much high Qualification so best place for them to work.

management please work on your so called uneducated supervisors train them how to talk first and how to treat their Workers.

I worked for colonial cookies temp. Agency for 8 months. They kept saying. I was going to get hired on but never did. They switched me through afternoon and nights throughtout the same week. Which was so hard on the body. I liked most of the people on the shifts and made some life long friends but, On the night shift their is a couple ladies if they dont like you they will try to get you fired. When i did get fired they didnt put in on the work schedule for three days which was strange.. After those 3 days they called me and told me it wasn't working out.

Productive teamwork workplace,,a typical day packaging Cookies,,ensuring quality control,,,management was fully involved and easy to get along with,,,,co-workers were involved with teamwork and fun full day,,,hardest part of the Job was was downtime,,,broken machinery with loss of production,,the most enjoyable part of the job was working a full day with little downtime and putting out high numbers.

I have just recently started working for Colonial Cookies, so I may not have a lot to say about it.  I enjoy having the job, but it is much too fast, too hot, and confusing.  There's a lot of things to remember and some of the full-time permanent staff aren't qualified to train new employees properly.  I enjoy talking to some of the other employees during our breaks, but the job is just not for me.  I would rather be doing something else.

Not a place you wanna work it's boring, under payed for the work your doing

The older people that worked there where not that friendly

It was a horrible experience on every job

Standing at one mixer for hours with a bunch of grumpy old dudes walking around

I am currently a packer. I dislike how we get moved around to different lines quite often. I dislike that we have to learn a lot of tasks. I am not so great at multitasking. The night shifts are leaving me quite burnout by the next morning. I don't hate the work environment competely. I am just not that big of a fan of nights and the multitasking that comes with the packing position.

Recently saw this ad and applied for the position only big issue I had was that you were not hired thru colonial cookies themselves its thru a job agency which they tell you upfront until you apply for the position and they respond back as well you are required to work every Saturday that they schedule you for or else they will let you go. Pay could be a bit better as well as the training portion of it as well.

Poorly managed, inefficient, horrid place to work. Non-existent HR department.
Constantly flipping from nights to afternoons to days, running heavy machinery and working physically demanding jobs on no more than 3 hours of sleep.
Constant efficiency issues.
