Working for this school board you must be ready for a lack of support. They will have by contrast, very steep expectations on you , but will not be there to offer you support until you are really needing it, and even then the support will be  very limited. You will criticism from the administration, have a lot of expectations and pressure from the parents of the students and, the staff of employees  within the environments you will work will be, often,  very non welcoming, Often the teachers and staff are exhausted and stressed and not very friendly. In the end, you will work very hard, for very little and there are a ton of forced deductions which will leave you with almost nothing on your pay checks considering all the efforts and responsibilities you will have. It is far better to accept substitute teaching opportunities then a permanent position or a contract as you will make more per hour and have no deductions for forced medical insurance, union and other useless deductions. They will not provide a recommendation letter for you and the company culture is conservative, and very boring.
