COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

I loved that there was no typical day at work. I learned how to be very flexible and prioritize tasks as required. There was always something new to learn especially with the research department and when auditing offices. The co-workers were great to work with and made my day that much more enjoyable. I believe the environment you work in and the people you work with can make it easier to get up and go to work. I found the hardest part of the job was having to shut down my computer at the end of the day on time as I enjoyed working there so much, I never noticed the time going by.

For 25 years I have been a volunteer with the RCL Branch 22 in Drumheller.  It is very fulfilling knowing you're helping our veterans, including my father who serviced in the Armed Forces.  Our biggest project will be starting this week when we form a committee to host the Annual Convention in 2019.

Great workplace culture. Staff is friendly. Room for advancement. The training was quick and accessible. The hardest part of the job was the first few weeks. The most enjoyable part of the job were my colleagues and all the training that was provided.

Volunteering with Enbridge is a great opportunity for anyone young or old. The environment they create for their volunteers is full of fun and excitement, it allows individuals to come together to be part of something bigger and meaningful.

Enjoyed the team I worked with. My supervisor was great, I was able to learn a lot from her always took out time to make sure I didn't need anything and to check in with me.

Such community engagement helped me grow as an individual. It was a brief but nonetheless enriching involvement. It provided me a good learning experience in working in the field with various types of people.

I have worked as a volunteer, not an employee. Thus, I am not paid to participate but I do it passionately. The work is a help for immigrants and other people who take time to adjust in Canada.

Club Zone is a great place for teenagers to express themselves. There are workshops and activities in creative writing, art, sports, music, resume writing, educational outings, and much more.

I like to work in places where I have the chance to learn new experience. Keep me busy the time of my shift and let me socialize with client and gain money

Working with different from all back grounds was excellent as you get to experience different culture. Supportive team members and leaders. The fun part is you get to learn from other people.
