Steer clear of this place, they will run you till you drop , was hired as a Local Driver in Stellarton , was told home every day rolled out the red carpet to get to to drive for them , ALL LIES home every day yes , but for 6 or 7 hours then expected to go back to work , never know what your doing day to day have to wait for a text message , no life home balance , the 2 dispatchers( if thats what you want to call them)  in Stellarton are the worst i ever had worked for , lots of back stabbing , lies ,lies lies nice to your face then throw you under the bus to protect there own butt in 1 second  pay is poor for the amount of hours your EXPECTED to work , made to go out in blizzards even though you tell the 2 dispatchers ts not safe , told to put unload time as off duty time as to not make it look like your running over hours , dont work here far better places out there 

I love my job here, but i am currently looking for additional part time work, unless i was to find a permanent full time position elsewhere that was more challenging for myself. I like to strive to learn more and more all the time, becuase the more i know, the better i am at what i do. I love a challenge, and work well with others or by myself. I am a quick learner. I normally enter orders that customers want picked up, i follow trucks down the line from ontario to the east coast on our sattelite and record delivery times. I also do billing of orders, answer phones, filing, etc. Hardest part of my job is dealing with the multiple personalities in the office, but i dont let it get to me. But over all, i love what i do, i just want to do more, and learn more, and i seem to be at a standpoint at my current position.

My experuence at Connors was overall a pleasant one. There was the usual occasional equipment issues but were generally rectified quickly, a non issue now as neq gear is arriving almost daily. Never an issue with paycheques, always there and seldom if ever wrong. Interbal issues were settled quickly and Jackie and safety do a good job of standing up for drivers. Dispatch isnt bad, as long as you do your job they are generally good to deal with. The grocery hauling racket is not for everyone but if you are a go getter you will do fine. If you are a chronic complainer and know it all and tell everyone else how to do their job, you will not make it. I spent 23 years long haul before jumping to Connors and hauling local and enjoyed it. I would go back tomorrow if I could. 

Management at Woodstock is a laugh. They don't listen to any problems and don't intend to fix anything. If workers don't do what they're told nothing is ever said to them you have to fend for yourself because you will get no help from management

Enjoyed my time at Connors . Was busy in the shop and the couple of years I was there was Quite enjoyable . Upper management was easily approachable if you had any concerns . Overtime if wanted at the time and work every second sat from 8 to 12 . Met and worked with people I’m  still friends with today !

As truck driver or owner operator they gonna push you hard.
Bad trips palaning 
They will not care about your life balance 
All they care about is arriving thier freight on time.
You will work for low salary and you will waste your time with them for free 
You will do alot of work for free


They always hire unqualified people to work at connors, they don't give any raises, because that means your taking away from there profits. 
At times the work vibe was very cancerous. 

This company needs a total overhaul.
They have two and three people doing the same job, and not enough people doing the jobs that need to be addressed.
They run the company from Nova Scotia, and have no idea what is actually happening or the needs of the Toronto office.

I don't understand the bad reviews...maybe those folks just couldn't cut it.  I have always been treated with respect.  There is lots of work, the equipment was well maintained, and the pay is good.  They even gave us a raise during the pandemic.

I recommend Connors to any driver.
