Worked here for several years. Onsite location is awful, a very toxic environment. Mangers spend time micromanaging team and are then rewarded through employee recognition. Half the time you will see them out on smoke breaks and gossiping about staff.  No level of support from upper management. They make promises of getting promotions, later you are rewarded with more work to do and more responsibilities.  Team leads try their best to support the team but are micromanaged by their bosses. Sad how management has been fully aware of how unhappy staff are and they choose not to make any changes. 

No proper team structure in different accounts , you see 10 team leads or managers for each account. Company makes new manger roles yet their staff don’t get a proper pay increase.

No work life balance. There was a pay freeze for 2 years and some people left the company, they did not decide to backfill. All teams were left strained and under staffed. After the pay freeze was lifted they only rewarded employees with less than 3% salary increase. Was told by an old coworker all employees are now to fill out timesheets to report on hours they worked, this is a very awful change as they are trying to track everyone. No RRSP contributions matches and no pension plans.

WARNING do not ever apply for any coordinator positions at this company specifically when they are project roles. -Research the company you work for before applying to position

Worked here for 2 years, starting at the Windows 10 migration project. Team was very nice and understanding, as they provided a welcoming and calm experience. The difficulty of work was very easy, and if unsure, you can always reach out to the other employees for assistance. Most of the times they were willing to help or share insight. Overtime was never an issue, so if you were strapped for cash.. they always had opportunities after work/right before the shift is done to log in a few extra hours. The one thing that I did not like here was direction from the managers. The managers did micromanage in phases, and pushed you around to different projects randomly, most of the time with no type of reasoning. Was always on a contract, and had no type of benefits what so ever.. so if you’re looking for a full time experience, good luck. They provide 2 paid sick days, ALL YEAR! even if you’re contract is extended within the year, those 2 paid days still apply. Very stingy on giving time off and your chance of getting full time is close to none if they don’t respect you. I’ve begged and pleaded and got nowhere with full time. Me being a Canadian, I would rate this job as if you are now graduating from your tech diploma, and need some experience under your belt. Wouldn’t waste my time if you want to grow for the long term. Get your 3 month experience and move the **** on!

Coreio is the worst company I have ever worked for. Happy I found a job right after my contract ended. Company laid off a lot of people in the last three months. Please tell me why 90% of them were people of colour. They keep promoting useless people who gossip and smoke all day. If you gossip and smoke you’ll fit right in, a matter of fact you’ll be getting that manager position you’ve always dreamt of! Mangers don’t say hi to half their team and go to the other side of the office and flirt with young caucasian women. Yet those people still remain in the company and did not get affected with the lay offs. It really makes you think....Hmmmmm..Flirting and favouritism goes a long way people.....

I've been with the Coreio company since 2014. Good to work for. Good security for those willing to do the job and a little above. OT available. Pay is on par with market standards and good benefits. They are always trying to grow the culture, but it mostly occurs at the main office. 

This is a company that is great to get your career started and has the potential to become the choice company to work for.

Was originally interviewed for one contract position (which never happened due to client) and a few years later (since they kept my resumé) I was interview for a position, but hired for another contract (which ended) and a few days later was asked to come on for yet another contract.  It was nice to know there are places that have human resources departments that hold on to your application, and come back to it much later should a specialist be needed.

The manager was terrible. Very unprofessional. Training was non-existent. Had to basically figure it out on your own and train yourself. Only then to be criticized when mistakes were made. 
When mistakes were made by senior team members, they were quickly hidden to prevent any chance of the company contract ended.

Definitely not a fast paced environment like other companies, Easy to settle into.  
Like all companies they state their pay rates are competitive. Employees who have been there the quite a while will argue that it is competitive when they are seeking new talent. 
Easy atmosphere to work in. Peers get along pretty well.

This is not a place to work if you're looking for a raise or to be recognized for your hard work. All benefits and accolades are given to the upper management, which they rarely deserve. New ownership now, the original owners retired and sold the company, and things have gotten even worse since they took over.

Management is not good.  Too many people, and not getting to point.  This company will stress you out.  They always ask you to fill out spreed sheets with number for management l, but they don't look at it.  Also if the client give you a review, they don't accept it l, unless its more money for the client. 

Some managers lie and play one employee against the other.
Toxic environment.
Depending on the contract, some locations are nice to work in.
Upper management doesn't take control of bad managers and bad team leaders.
