CUISINE SANTE INTERNATIONAL

You are expected to attend trade shows through out the city and stand at a booth from 4-8 hrs and basically beg people to sign up for a free dinner. You are not paid for these hours. Then you are expected to call these people at the office for 4 hours and hopefully get lucky enough to have a few people agree to come see the "free dinner". Once they've attended the show, you are expected to sell them a $3000 package of cookware and kitchen accessories. They also charge the customer a $500 fee on shipping and handling charges which they openly awknowledge is a quick money grab while the customer is excited about the purchase. If the customer inquires about this charge, they immediately start offering the customer extra products which comes off your commision. There was a massive turnover rate in the 6 months i worked there. In training they advertise you can make $1000 a week which is totally bogus and a vacation trip which is also a blatant lie. One of the older consultants also shared with me that the products are actually mass produced in China for about $400 and then sold for over 3 grand. I have opened a complaint with the labour ministry over a year ago about their unethical practices. No matter how nice these people seem, remember that they are snakes and will try and underpay you at any given opportunity.

A typical Day at work would Include:
-Daily Meeting from 4-5;30
-We would go on break right after the daily meeting
-Start making phone calls from our ballots to invite the customers to our live cooking show presention which is held six days out of the week.
-Up until 8:45pm that night, we prepare ourselves for what they call [Closing] this is when we actually make our day or break our day, once the show is done, we then speak to the customers which we invited that night, we make sure they do not leave epmty handed.

While working at Cuisine Sante International. I learn how to break out of my shell and have fun with future customers. Who we meet at local trade shows.At Cuisine Sante International we promote healthy eating. They cook with NO BUTTER, NO OIL, & NO FATS. I would say working their is Fun &  inviting along with  great food and awesome co-workers.

Before working at Cuisine Sante you get to experience coming to the live cooking show before you actually call and invite customers in for a free dinner for two. Which is really cool. The hardest part of the job is getting the people from the trade shows to commit to coming in for a free dinner for two.

My place of work is a lot of fun but it takes an extremely hard worker to get the job done. My job is all commission based plus encouraging and generous bonuses every now and then. I really enjoy myself there because I am an extremely hard worker. When I put my mind to something, I get it done. I have earned high seniority and respect within the company. I am now looking for something full time and that is steady pay.

I "worked" here for 2 weeks a couple years ago. All I did was make phone calls for 4 hours bugging people to come in for the free dinner they signed up for. They give you scripts to follow on the phone, as well as when you have your poor suckers in your office after the presentation. No sales = No pay. I didn't make any money with them, as I never even had the chance to speak to any potential customers.

Not really cold call, but some customers will consider it that way. Generating leads is easy-peasy. Maintaining contact? Not so much. 

The hours are not bad at all.

The team is full of fun and vibrant people with a passion for customer service.

Hardest part? Living off of commissions. But once you get your first sale, the cheques will start rolling in.

A typical day for me at work:
1) Sweep, mop, and dust
2) Make salads and cut chicken breast into square pieces
3) Prepare show room foods
4) Set up show room
5) Tear down show room

Brilliant work atmosphere. Friendly team of co-workers, amicable managers. 

Helped boost my confidence even further in approaching objections.

Working here means you have to sell $300 cookware for $3000 to people who you know can't afford it. That's the whole job.
